She didn't have an American accent, she had one of the strongest BOSTON accents in history. Even speaking English, she had a very pronounced Boson accent. Her French is fairly good after having spent time in convent schools in France. But even the nuns could not get rid of her Boston accent.

the interviewer even corrects her!

I do agree with all the other posters , though, that

her French is not bad at all even though her American

accent is quite strong. Remember, Rose didn't have French films

to watch, not to mention Youtube with limitless French videos!

And when she went over to Europe, she had to take a boat! So

it makes sense that her grammar is quite good even though her accent is

not the best.

He wouldn't do that!! Don't believe everything you hear Sun, especially not about JFK. His killers don't want you to care who killed him and they'll say anything to make you hate him, so that even if you do know who, you'll think it was okay. But it's not true. He loved John and Caroline.

Incredible. I've never really admired the Kennedys' much, but I really admire Rose after this interview. Her accent is frightening, but it takes a hell of a lot of courage to do an interview like this; on the world stage and in a foreign language. I'm very proud of her. Most americans wouldn't even try.

Most people from the English speaking world really. At least in the US, a lot of you guys know some spanish. Over here, in Australia, I was even asked once (I'm french by the way) if we had the same alphabet (as in English) in French.... Ignorance is bliss in some parts of this world, people are still nice though...
