Im only 10 and i watch these because i want to live in a rv because i want to travel all the way around the U.S. and still have my home.I want to sleep in every state.

I have never been in an RV before.. yet i find it so freaking awesome.. everyone thinks i'm weird because i like RV's at the age of 19 :D, i just love the fact that you can go everywhere and have you'r whole house with you :)

I have a few questions.. How old do you have to be to rent an rv? And can you shower and use the bathroom and watch tv while somebody else is driving? Thanks so much

@Gocubbies021 Well, I guess like any car or vehicle rental, you have to be 25. You can use the bathroom and watch TV in the bedroom while it is being driven.. You could take a shower but it wouldn't be safe to do that.. The front TV cuts off when you start the engine. It's a safety feature..

@mysteryglo Hi, do any of the animals scratch the furniture in your rv? if not, how do you prevent it? do you buy alot of take out food or mainly cook inside?

@themaniusedtob I do have 2 cats and although they don't "scratch" the furniture, there are a few little holes from their claws from just jumping up and stuff.. :(( They use their scratching post or the carpet usually. The dogs never scratch the furniture. We cook in a lot, but we like to go out to eat a lot too! :))

Mysteryglo, do you drive this thing? And if so, is it easy or is it hard? As far as making turns and finding places (At walmart, target, gas stations) to park? Also, is this your first RV? I was wondering if you have blind sports? Do you know if Class C has blindspots?

@UnrealTerminator20 I do not drive this motorhome but I have driven one of our other ones. This is our 3rd and largest one we have had.  They are intimidating at first when you sit in the drivers seat but you soon forget that you have this huge thing behind you and it is like driving any other large vehicle. Yes, turning is different since you have to swing wide, kind of like a truck driver does, but you get the hang of it quickly. No blind spots, plenty of mirrors. Don't know about Class C.

@kradkins It's 43 feet long with 4 slide outs! We got it at an RV dealership in Florida called Lazy Days!

that is way nicer than my apartment :( There's a guy whom I work with who lives in an old school bus converted into a motorhome... he chooses to live in it rather than the other luxury hotel we built....yours definitely trumps his...very nice!

@gagafan219 As a matter of fact, that did happen. We had just gotten to a campground in OKlahoma and were told to leave our RV and come in the office to be safe. Luckily it bypassed us! Whew!!

@arby321 We were going to do that once and instead ended up buying one! Renting one might give you an idea of whether or not you will like traveling in one, but they are not as big or equipped like one you would buy! If you rent one, have fun on your trip!!

@MrArrowmonkey I would recommend that you go to an RV show or just to an RV dealer and take a look at all they have to offer.. Test drive some and see what is right for you and your family. That is how we bought our first one.. Just went to a lot and started looking till we saw what suited us! Good luck!!

Awesome RV man, it must of been pretty boring sitting through a hurricane like that by your self, I'd go crazy without anyone with me. If I may ask you a question, how did you power everything in you RV?

Thanks for watching.. I wasn't bored being there by myself - I had 3 dogs and 2 cats with me and they were lots of company! LOL Everything is powered by our 50amp power cord plugged in outside. If we were to lose power during a storm, the Rv has a generator that I would turn on which runs on diesel fuel and that would power everything is the RV!
