Seems to me like the ride should be designed so you can't open the doors unless the net is in place.

I used to work at this park...I met my wife here...I have a close relationship to the ride operator involved in the incident...to work at this place you have to accept the inherent danger that you put yourself and other people in while working here...All the rides here are dangerous...but it is up to the rider to decide if the adrenaline rush is worth the risk....May God watch over Teegan Marti...Nuf said

This ride was featured on a documentary about extreme terror rides. What a bunch of idiots. I wouldn't allow a 50 year old man on this ride, let alone a 12 year old! Give me a break.

This ride just almost killed a 12 year old girl. I went on it a week ago and it malfunctioned but they told me there was no safety issue and kept running the ride.

@bjj1605 what happened is the ride operator was not paying attention and released her before the net was completely lifted. they constantly stress to us, at the amusement park I work at, to ALWAYS pay attention and check everything around you first and what not before sending the ride. the operator in this case failed to do so.

@SammiC0306 The ride should have safety interlocks to prevent things like this. Something like "if the net isn't all the way up, don't allow the trapdoor to open" could be done pretty easily, and would make incidents much less likely.

Me and my now ex boyfriend did that. We went up at the same time. And the worker tried to get me to go first, bc he said girls wuss out. I was like "srsly? You dont know what kind of chick i am" I made my boyfriend go first and watched. Oh man the worst part is when they are untieing you.
