Agreed. I really don't like how his current gimmick is taking a bad influence on his matches. I mean he is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world but as "the young KO-kid" a lot of his matches are pretty boring. I remember those days as Hero represented himself as an pure athlete (in the beginning of 08). Those days he put on some awesome matches.

Hard hitting and Hero doesn't fit together very well.

I think that's the point of his gimmick. Trying to convince everyone in ROH that he has more knock out power than anyone else, when he really doesn't. I do agree some of his matches do lack something, but he still puts on a clinic when he needs to. He had an amazing match against Lance Storm last month in Toronto.

Ahh yes, ROH is horrible, of course, the WWE puts on such entertaining "wrestling" matches every week... In one ROH DVD, I can be guaranteed to pop at a minimum of 4 times.... WWE? Before Wrestlemania 25, the last time that I truly popped was Wrestlemania 24 during the MITB.. Fuck WWE, ROH : REAL Wrestling for REAL fans

Well, this was from April, when the loaded elbow pad was still being a recurring gimmick in his matches. I don't think he's used it for a while though, unless I'm mistaken.

Three things:

1) Hero has THE sickest elbows I may have ever seen/heard. Most elbows, even Misawa's, never sounded like that.

2) Hero needs to go back to the green long tights. They don't even need to be the pants, just long tights. His current outfit just doesn't fit him.

3) That was a flat finish. After he elbowed him on the head, he should have given Frankie the Roaring Elbow.

It's a legit finisher just like BigHippiePat said. It was one of Mitsuharu Misawa's signature moves, in fact, one of Chris Hero's idols is Misawa, which is why he uses said move. Although, I admit, he should still be doing the Hero's Welcome.
