I definitely saw a commerccial for this once during the Lawrence Welk Show (probably the Canadian version others have mentioned since that announcer was definitely female)
There was a different version that aired in Canada. It had a voiceover by Dini Petty, a veteran Canadian newswoman, who, at that time, had her own talkshow on the CTV network.
The commercial aired in Canada for about 3 weeks before it was yanked, probably in response to complaints from people who were offended by the double entendres.
In Canada, we had a slightly different version of this commercial. The visuals were the same, but the voiceover was by Dini Petty (a veteran Canadian newswoman, who, at the time, had her own daytime talkshow on the CTV network), and the music was mellow elevator muzak. I remember being doubled over with laughter whenever I heard this commercial during the 3 weeks or so that it aired before being abruptly yanked, probably in response to complaints from offended viewers with no sense of humour.
I'm pretty sure it was intentional. Plus, this thing only ever seemed to air in the wee hours of the morning, where they probably figured no one would notice anyways! ;)
Thank You, TVTropes
