HomeComputerLab - Nice Little setup you have there. In regards to your OWA being directly accessible from the web, why dont you just stick a reverse proxy in front of it, maybe pound or apache with proxy mod. Or if you want to stick with MS stuff, use ISA.
patch panel is where the lines from around the house come into the server room/rack and then the patch cables go from there to the switch and a access point is like a wireless router
@jtvd78 a patch panel is where all the ethernet cables coming in from around the house go into the back, and in the front is where they all come out so it is easier to switch which wire goes where.
Would have been better to wall mount the patch panel with the cables from the ceiling cables punched into it, then patches from the wall patch to the switch via the service elbows. Right now you have to cut or unpunch the cables to move the rack. Otherwise a nice setup.
This kind of setup is useful for learning how to do shit without trashing someone's company network.

This is the first time I've seen your video(s). Now what you've done is VERY VERY cool. 1 Question, do you really need all this?

If I had enough room I would have mounted the patch panel on the wall. I left enough slack in the ceiling so that I can move the cabinet.
