With all the great rep out there written for castrati, why is he singing Puccini written for a female soprano? Confusing... Not a terrible voice, but all the straight-tone is a bit less than desirable for this era...
Are you using falsetto when you sing because your voice is one of the most pure countertenor voices I've ever heard in my life. You sound like a natural soprano. Very very nice
Unless you see him perform, you would have no idea he is interpreting his songs at all. And does no one hear the crazy break at :30? I think you should leave the classical pieces for the real divas and stick to the contemporary stuff man, at least that I would listen to.
@tangerinehatbox Yes, I heard the slight break at :30. Didn't bother me that much however because he seemed to have kept it together for the remainder of the aria. Let's permit him to sing; he has more nerve than most of us.
@tangerinehatbox Your "dissonant" sounds even more horrible here...I'm sure of one thing: You are very arrogant. Are you aware of that? I think not. That is your biggest problem. Work on yourself.
Fantastic performance and...voice and everything:)!

Honey, just cause you can does not mean you should. Leave the Puccini sopranos to the real women.

@TheMathias456 He has rich, dynamic and flexible voice, not only pure. For that rison he sounds like natural soprano. Falsetto can be very pure :)

If I had a dollar for every time I've listened to Oswald singing this, I would be wealthy! Just love it.

Oswald is not only inpiering and unforgettable as a singer, he is also by far the best looking male singer i know!
This rendition of the aria is in my head a lot.
A countertenor can have a lot of fun with it since its so melodic.

Despite the fact this is not an aria for a countertenor I must admit that he has a superb tone and somehow a celestial voice!
