To Clarify things, Cher is the original Artist for this song, not Nancy Sinatra. Cher was 20 when she put this song out on her second album. Sonny Bono wrote the song. Cher started singing when she was 17. She actually sings backup on a a few well known 60's songs. Nancy did cover it the same year (1966), but it is a Cher song. Cher has actually re-released it on other albums, including a remixed rock version. The Sinatra version became a lot more well known after Kill Bill.
