  • this sipderman turned into spiderman 2099

  • I miss this show. I wish they at least concluded the cliffhanger ending. Didn't they conclude the overall story in the 4 issue comic book series?

  • guys check out.........

    watch?v=oQNgstvd9sQ&context=C349c501ADOEgsToPDskICksaBXrs47GSwN096QKQH

  • no this does not tie in with Spiderman The Animated Series... :(

  • am I the only onw ho thinks venom and carnage were like gay bros in this spidey series?

  • Goddamn i loved this series.

  • АхмЕТ БЛЕАДЬ

  • Unlike BB, SMU isn't set in the future, but an alternate version of the Marvel universe called Counter-Earth. Spidey squares off against the oppressive rulers of this brave new world, and even gets a cool costume change.

  • @BenHopkins1000 Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt this the continuation of Spider-man the animated series, where Spider-man fights venom on a space shuttle and he and venom accidentally get sucked into an alternate universe. And in this show, spider-man tries to go back to his own universe.

  • I'm a "DC fanboy" and I love Spiderman. Spiderman Unlimited was one of my favourites!

  • This show should have continued!

  • I'm a Spidey fan and all, but this series was terrible. I found Batman beyond far more enjoyable than this one. I mean, c'mon, they replaced the EPIC Spider-Man TAS for Spider-Man Unlimited, and never gave TAS a proper ending...

  • @xwilbr i agree. and the thing was why couldnt they just put the original suit instead of this one?

  • @xwilbr Yeah I always loved Spidey too but for some reason this series just never really landed for me. Batman beyond I was sceptical about because Bruce wasn't Batman, but boy am I glad I gave that series a chance. So much awesome. It was cool in JL Unlimited when a couple of the episodes featured Terry McGuinness.

  • .....the only part I hate is the cape. I was just fine with those webs in his armpits. Other than that this show is awesome.

  • I did not like this series. It was weird and the environment was set in some other dimension/space.

  • I remember this series. It was okay but a little like batman beyond meaning that it had little to nothing in common with the "real" spider-man. But besides from that and standing on it's own it's okay...

  • Very under-rated series

  • uh Miles Jamason wonder if this takes place after spiderman TAS i just wonder though

  • Is this continuing the the story from spider-man TAS

  • In my opinion,i think this series ruined spider-man.

  • Why wasn't this suit in Shattered Dimensions?

  • @ArcaneOmen2041 Because no one wouldn't approve it I guess since this show hasn't been seen in 10 years the ratings were fair but the directors never made a second season because of the show was based on the comic book however it didn't made enough money Due to Liberation's bankruptcy, the Marvel licenses were re-acquired by Clear Vision Ltd, who released it on DVD (in Region 2 PAL format) in a 2-disk set containing all 13 episodes. It was released on the 3rd of May, 2010.

  • it follows a comic series

    and it was pretty awesome

    but 11 episodes,really?

  • I didn't really like this show, it was stupid and made little to no sense. But the opening was pretty good.

  • It's a shame they cancelled this show.

  • what is the name the title of this music which flies ??

  • a minature nuck explodes on peters hand and some how his hand is perfectly intact

  • this was the best Spider-man series

  • @blackinque Nope, the one before this was ("Spider-Man: The Animated Series"). I actually followed the main comic arc and had a nice crossover with several other Marcel characters, including the X-Men in their cartoon form of the time it the same voiceactors). Also, i actually ran for a couple of seasons, whereas most others finished within the year.

  • spiderman unlimited>batman beyond

cuz Peter Parker doesn´t need someone else to continue his legacy

  • @Gatecrusherify agreed sir

  • @onlyelisha ;)

  • @Gatecrusherify He would after 50+ years when Spiderman is an old man.

  • @Gatecrusherify Batman would have/ tried to continue as Batman, he was just too old. Peter Parker was like, 20 in this series. And anyways, several people became Spiderman if you read the comics.

  • @rideroffamine i never know that thanks for the information

  • @rideroffamine Uh yeah, Ultimate Peter Parker and Miles... what's his name.

  • @Gatecrusherify untill he dies in the ULTIMATE universe and now we have Miles Morales :P

  • @Gatecrusherify them fighting words

  • @Gatecrusherify *ahem*......MILES MORALES

  • @Gatecrusherify Spiderman 2099. Just sayin'

  • @Gatecrusherify Um...Ben Riley.

  • @Gatecrusherify That's because Peter Parker is such a 2-dimensional character that he doesn't get old. Like Ash from Pokemon. xD

  • @9ssgoku Hey idiot. Bruce is the same age as he's been for seventy freaking years. I think that all super heros have had stories where they return older. Even Spider-Man had his. See Spider-Man: Reign.

  • @marvelmax03191 ORLY? Batman Beyond, bitch. Justice League season 1 finale "Epilogue", bitch. Bruce has been the same age for seventy years. Right.

  • @9ssgoku Fuck you DC fanboy. Comparing Peter Parker toa pokemon character just shows what a fucking idiot you are.

  • @marvelmax03191 Aaw, it's an angry Marvel kid! You wanna biscuit boy? You wanna biscuit? First sit! GOOD BOY! xD

  • @9ssgoku Wow, another DC fanboy who thinks that nothing can match the awesomeness of their super heroes. Well guess what, DC boy? I love both companies, and you're full of shit.

  • @marvelmax03191 FYI, even I love them both, and you can't deem I'm full of shit for making fun of you being s Marvel fan when you hammered me as a DC fan. So, in your logic, you are also full of shit. But wait, I'm not, because hey, DC has the fucking Batman. xD

  • @9ssgoku Sorry, but the bat is overrated. I love him and all, but that' fact.

  • @marvelmax03191 No. You know who's overrated? Superman. The Bat deserves every bit of fame he gets. Superman, on the other hand, is one superhero who only appeals to me in the Justice League. Other than that, he's a pussy.

  • @9ssgoku I actually agree with that, though his new comics is pretty good.

  • @marvelmax03191 For a guy who claims to love both (yet has the word 'Marvel' in his user name) you're pretty aggressive towards DC fans.

  • @MrMViceroy Peter Parker/Spider-Man is my favorite character of all time, and when someone comes on here saying he's a 2D character and compares him to Ash from Pokemon, I'm going to get pissed. With that said, I love both companies, but will always be a Marvelite.

  • @marvelmax03191 what idiot compares spidey to a kid with a talking cat and two punk wannabes that get sent flying nearly every episode ?.....parker has to deal with villians that would make giovanni run in fear

  • @PrimalWolf2006 Haha right?! That's what I thought!

  • @Gatecrusherify Be careful, buddy... you just might end up with a batarang in your butt.

  • @00411392 easy DC fanboy

  • @Gatecrusherify lol, I'm just joking with you... though there are Batfan that just might start something with you.

Terry vs Peter... Don't know who would win but I do know it's fight I'd love to see.

  • @Gatecrusherify Well, to be fair, Bruce was way older than Peter.

And there is Miguel O' Hara. :P

  • @Gatecrusherify he kind of dos but I'm not pointing out anything really *cough* miguel o hera *cough*

  • @Gatecrusherify what are you talking about? There was a point were Parker wanted to retire and have Ben Reily take over for him.

  • @Gatecrusherify And the present times ruined that too. :(

  • @Gatecrusherify no way batman beyond was ten times better than this

  • @diseasedmindmk come on both re classics

  • loving the music

  • The series wasn't that bad. I admit, it could've been better, but the action and the Spider-Man essence wasn't bad. What it needed was more heart, which was what kept the '90's animated series going. Some of the jokes and lines were predictable, but it definitely could've been worse. We need a return of a series like this. Maybe to cross over with that new Ultimate cartoon

  • @TheMimic12 It depends on whether or not Disney wants to take the risks. Having two Spider-Man shows on at the same time might confuse viewers. This show's popularity demonstrated the level of interest in interplanetary Spider-Man and DC/Warners basically beat them to the punch with Batman Beyond, thus making a Spider-Man 2099 adaptation risky. But if executed well, anything could work, and Disney do have the money. It's just that, sadly, the new series would have to fail first.

  • @MrLunitunz I agree. But Drake Bell is a prick, and if the show is going to be as corny as some of the previews, "Ultimate Spider-Man" will fail. It even seems more worthwhile to pick up on a show that had an unfair demise thanks to Pokemon.

  • @TheMimic12 Disney are loaded. Marvel can more than match Warner Bros at the animated series game now, all Disney have to do is test the waters with this new Spider-Man show which, Drake Bell aside, seems to have some pretty good casting, although not to DCAU or even Teen Titans level.

  • In a way this show is the Batman Beyond Of Spider-Man.

  • Oh shit there is a miniature nuclear explosion on my hand

  • @scalbard Oh no, Imma turn into a nuclear explosion :O

  • They should continue the show, its really good

  • This show is the best, i love it!

  • je voudrai savoir la music de cette intro

  • Pokemon didn't kill this show. The fact that they made Spider-Man a fish out of water, premised a show around him having intergalactic escapeswith fucking Tony the Tiger is what killed this show.

  • @MrLunitunz Personally, Spidey being put in a completely different situation is one of the things that I liked about it. I mean, I've seen Spider-Man fighting basically all his different foes, angsting about his different problems. Here, we put him in an entirely different situation, with a much different role and far greater responsibilities. The only problem I had was them making Counter-Earth versions of his rogues gallery. I'd have rather them created more entirely new baddies and such.

  • @MaskedMan67 But the point is that Spider-Man doesn't have interplanetary adventures, the dynamic of Spider-Man works best when he's on Earth, when he's dealing with problems that everyone can relate to. Spider-Man isn't Superman or some cosmic level Superhero, he's down to Earth and human. You might as well send Batman into space.

Plus he wore a cape. Spider-Man doesn't wear a cape.

  • @MrLunitunz

Well y'know the thing is: Spiderman has been around for 60 years and you can make just so many cartoons featuring him dealing with the same, old, problems, villains, plots and dilemmas, You ought to try and make something different and original with the character. This is the main reason DC universe "restarts" like, every 10 years - you need new fresh original material to make the characters evolve.

Besides his cape was fine. it probably served for like, stealth ASSpects or smthin

  • @RyouuichiKun15 But DC Reboots rarely if ever truly do something new with the characters, they're the same old characters. Story-wise Comic Book readers are the most conservative bunch around, they don't like change, especially if it's poorly written change. This was that. I'm all for doing new things with Spider-Man but the execution has to be right. This show got destroyed by Batman Beyond which is one example of writers doing something totally original with Batman and doing it well.

  • @MrLunitunz

True, true. But i still don't think that this was show was THAT bad, in fact i did enjoy it somewhat - it definetely had good animation and comic book - like structure but eh, this was like, TOTALLY out of Spiderman, i mean as in having almost no connection to the previous Spiderman media and while the basic plot was interesting enough - the writing was awful. That's where Batman Beyond shines it's almost perfect in every category. it's almost like"The Dark Knight Returns Lite"

  • @RyouuichiKun15 Well, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini know how to do superhero cartoons. Look at their resume, Batman: The Animated Series, Superman, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice LEague Unlimited. These shows are perhaps the best comic book adaptations out there.

With Unlimited, they should have just done Spider-Man 2099 like they planned or done a straight up continuation of the 94 series. It would have been better for them in the longer run.

  • @MrLunitunz

yeah the WB involvementt helped a bit too i'd imagine. unlike Fox that couldn't get their sheet straight and canned both Spidey 94 and unlimited without making a proper ending. Cliffhangers suck. But i sincerely doubt that 2099 would work out back then.

Because it's even MORE detached from the Peter Parker Spiderman than Nanotech furry-lovin'-Spidey and it prolly wouldn't last much longer either

  • @RyouuichiKun15 Batman: The Animated Series was on Fox back in the day, to say it did well would be an understatement. I'd say that DC involvement may have helped, and DC being part of WB had access to large wads of cash, but Marvel have Disney money now, so there's no reason their animated projects can't be just as good, if not better.

I think 2099 might've worked. Batman Beyond was pretty detached from the Batman we all know and love and yet, like I said, it destroyed this show.

  • @MrLunitunz

Certainly now that Disney got marvel under their wing - they'd make good LONGLASTING projects now (eh, the Spectacular SM had such great potential!) the A:EMH was decent enough i suppose. They Had Kevin Conroy - God knows he's been Batman for like 20 years now LOL

And in fact -the show was a direct follow up to the original, we get to see Batman evolving from an Active Crimefighter to a senile old Bat sensei that supports the next gen Hero

unlike 2099 spidey which was ....mexican

  • @RyouuichiKun15 Kevin Conroy is the deal maker. He's the definitive Batman. I think Marvel have yet to hire the definitive Spider-Man. I think Will Friedle could work quite well as Spidey. But 2099 was a proven concept. Sure it was a spin-off, but aside from Bruce Wayne, so was Batman Beyond. DC took a risk. Marvel should've done the same.

    Also, 2099 Spidey was Mexican-Irish.

  • @MrLunitunz

well the thing is: unlike Bats, whose characteristics and personality traits have been the same since 70's - there've been an evolution of Spidey character - from a nerdy teen -> "hip" college student - > wise and cranky teach - > and back to .[ERROR ONE MORE DAY ERRO..] so it's kinda hard to have a "definitive" voice imo

i liked the 94 one the best tho. yeah gotta agree that 2099 should have been the choice instead of Unlimited.

He could be Shway for all i care - he wasnt Pete

  • @RyouuichiKun15 I could make the same argument for Batman and yet Kevin Conroy seems to embody all that Batman is and all he could be. Marvel haven't been looking hard enough. A common enough complaint is that the voice actors for Marvel works don't 'fit' the characters.

Will Friedle has good range. Yes, he played Terry McGinnis, but he also did Ron Stoppable on Kim Possible. They're totally different.

The essence of Terry and Peter are basically the same, which is why it would work.

  • @MrLunitunz

Yah, but they DO have a great Deadpool BOTH on Silver Screen and Animated and we all know that Deadpool >>> pretty much any other character out there, except Wind Squid. Nolan North is purrfect for DP

Yah, but only he did the voice of Tery like a decade ago and i doubt he has retaiend the same "vocal chords" or something....bah, the point is - that was a looong time ago

    Also Peter isn't Asian

  • @RyouuichiKun15 Will Friedle does Lion-O in Thundercats and having heard his performance I can tell you the voice is still the same, hasn't changed.

I haven't heard Nolan North play as Deadpool, so I'll take your word for it. But Deadpool on the silver screen is a terrible piece of casting. Ryan Reynolds didn't sell me in the Wolverine movie and he's not selling me for the prospective Deadpool movie.

Also, I never said Pete was Asian.

  • @RyouuichiKun15

Hey C'mon! RR was priceless in his Deadpool act....well all 4 minutes of it until he got turned into Baraka-pool

Besides, Don't blame the guy - Blame THE SRIPT!. he's prolly the only Good actor in Hollywood that is actually a fan of DP and can manage to pull him off on screen, He's the not the Deadpool you deserve but he is the Deadpool you need. ...to deserve....err..

But Terry was so it all makes sense

  • @RyouuichiKun15 Terry wasn't Asian. His girlfriend was. Both Terry's parents are white.

As for RR, you can only blame the script for so much. Yes, the Wolverine movie was bad. But so are most of the other films he's been in. You can only blame the material so much. Good actors can make poor scripts workable in the least, Reynolds doesn't do that.

There are tons of excellent actors waiting to make their break in Hollywood. Plenty who'd be perfect for the role. I say, give it to them.

  • should of kept his red and blue just for a little bit longer

  • thumbs up if you equally like this and pokemon

  • This series made no fucking sense... In my country this was broadcast just after the 1994's ended, and I thought It would be in the same way... But then I found Spidey with high tech suit (made by himself), leaving MJ away in order to go to a planet with humanoid animals and humans... And every Spiderman villain had a weird counterpart in that planet... But a great intro anyway, and the series better than most series nowaday...

  • No,it has nothing to do with that serie.

    Its another Universe.

  • @Lamadredetuamigo

the fantastic four made the suit

that's explain in the first episode

  • BEAR RAPE! 0:30

  • @AshtonSMusicTV LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Probably another reason to hate this Spidey show out of hundreds.

  • @AshtonSMusicTV

    Pedobear?

  • wht ever happened to the spiderman unlimited series cause it just stops at episode 14 but there should be another epsiode does anyone know y?

  • 0: 21 Spidey at Halo!

  • Spider-man Unlimited is gonna be so awesome, I'm gonna watch it everyday. What, they cancelled it because of Pokémon, fuck Pokémon.

  • Spider-Man Unlimited and Batman Beyond. Two great intros.

  • @Chloefornication yep, the music in this reminds me of a game called marathon from bungie, still, its great, and beyond should be in there too...

  • Why was this show canceled? hear one of the reasons was that the story plot made no sense.

  • @frozenterror93 The plot makes sense if you're thinking this isn't a sequel to the 1994 series (in fact it's supposed to, but the design for many characters aren't the same). To me, it felt a bit cliché, but not bad at all.

It was cancelled because Pokemon sucked all the attention from kids, and some Spiderman purists were disappointed. The series' only 13 episodes long and ends on a never resolved cliffhanger. That's the only thing which sucks IMO, not enough things were developped.

  • @Sangohan404 thanks

  • Best Spider Man intro ever.

  • @ObscureBeast dude fuck you this is one of my most favorite of all the spider man series that they made and your just complaining about him having a cape how was it disappointing? Just because they didn't show that much of spider man in the episodes.

  • Disappointing show. Don't try and make my spiderman into batman by giving him a damn cape.

  • 0:18-0:25 Sounds So Badass!!

  • This show's on Netflix!

  • @MMZERO9 WOOOO

  • How are you able to upload a 1080p video of something that was filmed in Standard definition?

  • @Superstarseven Dude, Its 2011

  • @owensqueezz99 That doesn't mean anything. The source is still from a 4:3 SD television show broadcast in the 90's.

  • @Superstarseven Or......... That

  • this was supposed to be a sequal to tas

  • I don't even know what would this show would be about after he leaves Counter Earth...

  • @FearlessHQ Probably undoing all the chaos that transpired while he was away lol.

  • @SpiderSlim716 maybe he would become a space hero

  • They should make a video game of this series.

  • FUCK YOU POKEMON!

  • when i first saw this i was freaking hooked! love the opening ^^

  • what got this show cancelled?

  • @pochuko Pokemon

  • I bet a bunch of people here were never aware of this so I'll say it now. Spider-Man Unlimited was actually meant to be the animated adaptation of Spider-Man 2099 to duel against Batman Beyond...A part of me feels rather annoyed it wasn't put into action.

  • cool

  • Anyone remember how this ended? Venom and Carnage won lol it was a fucking annoying cliffhanger and then they never aired a new episode. :P

  • this is enough to get me hyped. the show was alright but the theme is bad ass!

  • such a catchy theme song

  • its too bad the series was a illmanati series :(

  • @FlyzVo yeah totally agree with you ILLUMINATI NWO BRAIN WASH bull shit story lines

  • wonder what happend in the end shame the last episode never got shown

  • Pokemon was good back then but now it sucks so its time for Ultimate Spider-Man to shine!!!!

  • @EricBTXC talkign about the new spidey show coming out next year?

  • @kham2914 Yes I cant wait, Disney is making Marvel better Im stunned!

  • :c i want toknow how it ends

besides pokemon sucks now i wish it got cancelled instead because atleast it wouldnt run on and give us more crap to deal with

  • It would have been cooler if spiderman unlimited went to the star wars galaxy instead...

I kno different company but I think its a better idea and story than going to a counter earth ruled by animals. jus my opinion... who wouldnt want to see that....

  • I havent heard of this show before in my life, until i found the show a few months ago, started to like the theme.

  • wasnt there a green goblin in that weird dimension that was on spidermans side at one point?

  • @ThunderX19 Yeh... he helped him twice...

  • A nuclear bomb exploded in his hand, new technologic suit, new planet with futuristic stuff (distopic planet BTW), a werewolf (Johna's son), venom and carnage, furries gettin their asses kicked... it was so badass televisions began exploding all over the world and they had to take it down.

  • LOVE that music!

  • was this spiderman 2089 or 2099? which ever it was :P lmao when I was little I thought it was :/

  • This theme totally deserves a remix

  • Bring Static Shock back!!!!

  • Not really the fan of this version of Spiderman, but I do like this show's Peter Parker' in terms of character design. And of course, character voice.

  • I can't remember much about the show other than that I watched it. But the first time I heard this intro music I was blown away.

And still, it's very unusual for a cartoon. It's an awesome acid track.

  • is that spiderman 2099 at :18?

  • @MegaDbzfan101 no it's just the outfit he took from reed richerds and wore to counter-earth

  • 0:06 Amityville Horror house?

  • @SergeantLuke *shakes head sadly* no

  • SPIDEY OVER POKEMON THUMBS UP!

  • The VA for Spidey in this show was the best, hands down.

  • Didn't think this was the best spiderman adaptation, but dammit I liked it. FUCK YOU DIGIMON, Pokemon was alright at the time.

  • @blade9871 Pokemon has to die soon.

  • they should bring this back

  • wasn't this supposed to be a sequel to the 90's animated spiderman series?

  • they should change to spiderman 2099, might get high rating

  • i wish we could have more shows like the 90's cartoons everything was so good back then... especially the marvel shows like xmen, fantastic four, spiderman:tas, and silver surfer its a shame this one was cancelled

  • @MrDeadpool209 Silver Surfer and Fantastic 4 were lame.

  • No offense to anyone but this series effed upp spiderman since when can spiderman turn invisible and shoot rockets out of his arm cmon noww.
