I love this...Good gear + good song + GREAT guitarist = Sublime Performance! Thanks! It would be a reach for me but is there a tab for this some where in the universe? I know everyone asks but unless you teach tab is my best shot. Thanks again!
Thanks sachary for the comment. I hit some major clams so i cut the part where I started screwing up a little. What can I say ? Thats the truth...lol...Thanks,
Hi David.I really wish I could help you but I have no tabs for this.I am really sorry. Thanks for the compliment and for watching.Good luck with your music.
This video is really intense and sounds like it has a real mouthful. You can hear the human being in the music. And the swing and blues feel are perfect for the song.
your interpretation is awesome, beautiful and inspiring. If i could ever go to the chimney corner cafe, it wouldnt be for their food, but for you're music.
Thanks for the comment...A looper records while you are playing and you hit a button and it plays it back immediately...you can also overdub live...I use it to record my rhythm parts and solo on top of that...I have been playing 40 years....I should be alot better by now...lol,
Thanks again,I hope this helps....you can also find out more info at Boomerangmusic dot com.
A great job Chris, you're a mighty fine player man with great skills, creative use of that "loop station" laying down a solid accompaniment with nice walkin bass, you've got the Jazz in your heart man,I can hear that, wonderfull Job,Vic.
thanks. can i ask you more questions? Second, what software (if any) is playing in the background (walking bass line) or did you pre-record it? Second, did you remove the pick-guard or was there never any? Third, what brand/model is your guitar? Thank you very much! I'm a newbie in the jazz guitar world.
I use no software or pre recorded tracks.I am playing chords and walking bass and looping/repeating that thru a sampler...I play an Ibanez PM100 ...Thanks...Chris
Beautiful!! Could you please tell what fingers are you using to pick the strings? I can play classical guitar (picking with everything except my pinky), but I don't know which fingers to use when I'm holding a pick. Thank you very much.
Awesome, indeed. It was awesome enough just seeing you playing walking bass and comping at the same time [I use that word like I know what it means, but honestly, I read about it -- I don't "comp". I hack]. Looping was even more awesome. Love the idea.
Yea Chris! I dig the bass line/comp thing (the only time i ever got fired from a gig was when i was walking a bass line and comping chords on my bass!), Also dig your tone from that killer jazzbox!
I will kill for tabs of the looped part!
