  • I wanna see cute little kids not this old man :(

  • @500126341 No offence dude but that sounded kinda perverted...

  • @SarahWalsh95 i'm a girl haha

and i said "cute" not "sexy"

do you have an old man fetish sir?

  • @500126341 sir? By my name can't you tell i'm a girl as well.

And its the way you put a sad face because you wanted to see "cute little kids" :)

  • thumbs up if you went on colincucumber's channel and you found this video.

  • @FsXgOd1091 only cuz its in his favorites.

  • I strongly believe so-called ‘parenting skills’ are largely irrelevant to how kids turns out.

Example: there’s a dreadful, drug & alcohol-fuelled family on our road & their son went to Iraq as a private security contractor. He earns a fortune out there- whenever he comes home he always has a sweet new ride & hot 19YO model girlfriend.

In contrast, two close friends of mine were wonderful parents & their daughter ended up being raped a knifepoint, then getting depressed & committing suicide.

  • @SuperTruth77 Gosh your logic is distorted... - Having a nice car is maybe a reflection of how much money you have, not the least bit about who you are as a person. Having a pretty model girlfriend shows that you're either rich, or pretty, perhaps cool. /// If you recover from trauma is partially genetical. It's called resilliance and there's genes that make you prone to that or to failing the recovery and becoming depressed.

These things are genenetical. - Parenting is environmental !

  • Hello Texas! Nice work.

  • I wanted Science and studies, not "energy" and Dalai Lama...

  • "Bueller?"

  • thankyou thankyou thankyou

  • dont ever stop what ur doing ur advice is extremely beneficial

  • Good Intro - anxious to listen to the rest of the series. I totally agree that good parenting starts with an understanding of basic human truths and needs. Thank you Dr. Breeding.

  • wats with the background noise?

  • 1:26 !! Mr. Garrison !! :D

  • The true nature of a child is that of a wild hunter gatherer. In some parts of the still primitive world they remain wild hunter gatherers as adults. It is only a guess that all people can adapt to a farmer, factory, office world. Evidence suggests otherwise. Pressuring a child to adapt to the civilized world may backfire. Generally a child should be taught good behavior by parents by example, and directed into a mode of income earning they are capable of doing.

  • He looks totally psycho, like a strung out Chong!

  • That's low.

  • "The Power of Positive Parenting" by Dr. Glen Latham.

  • dude shut the hell up, hes got a better head on his shoulders than u do

  • Actors ,scientists and some artist isolate themselves from society but you cant substitute the experience of others with studies ... I was in a room like Jung and other guys and I made false reasons I was hiding and I felt uncomfortable without real people !!!These kind of people want a nice world with reasonable things but where the laugh and fun will go then? You cant learn to fight be confident and understand others and yourself only from books but internet is a bit different trick again ...

  • Always remember your unique...just like everyone else..

  • I wish EVERYONE knew this.

  • This appears so simple and obvious, but it is really profound. It is easy to fall into patterns. Thankyou for opening my eyes.

  • Thank you so much!

  • Arrogance is one of the worst qualities that exists. Unfortunately, this quality is used on children in the name of parenting so frequently that it's not even recognized.

  • LOL ok.

So should I advise you to make that phone call?? Most intelligent adults do not present their argument in your manner nor language.

If you wish not to speak with a psychologist, perhaps I can direct you to some self-help books to get yourself back together. There are also many local group sessions that you can attend to seek the type of social help I believe you need.

  • That's aweful! Express your energy by being a good parent...PERIOD!

  • Beat them at Twister, or a smiliar game. Not with a rod, etc

  • I'm studying psychology. And from the way you talk about your sister. I would agree that you seek treatment. Not meds though. But some sort of family counseling.

Did she pick on you all the time growing up?

    (lol)

  • I dee-f-y-y-y-y-y you to find a better guide to psychology than Dr Beeding..

  • Interesting. Children are wonderful, unique and precious indeed but we do have to help children learn to BE in society. Not to say they need to be little robots but teaching manners, kindness...these will help them throughout their lives.

  • nice ideas

  • Dr John is a very cool guy. I have gained some special insight in this video. "The wildest clots make the best horses."

  • What are you 8? I see your parents failed you because the first thing you should have been taught was to respect your elders! Do society a favor...don't pro create when you grow up!

  • "Hot new series on working with young people" LOL!

  • Keep in mind im only 16 and have never took any formal psychology class. Hope to hear from you.

  • The only way to fully understand human nature is to isolate yourself from society or to smoke weed. When I'm high I observe every intricate action and behavior that people around me preform, and for some reason I fully understand why they preformed such action. I also kind of observed that when you are high the "ID" becomes supressed and your "supper ego" behavior increases. It seems that the person starts to act as they where "tought" to act. I would like to talk to someone about this.thanks

  • Those are some interesting thoughts. I would recommend keeping in mind that drugs affect everyone differently. When I smoked weed, for example, I actually experienced greater difficulty understanding the inner thoughts and motivations behind what people said or how they acted. Weed seemed to obscure that for me. I've found that I'm best at understanding other people by simply paying attention and always trying to improve my sensitivity to others' body language and behavior.

  • im not poking fun.. Im just worried. hes a smart dude.

  • I will look into those books you mentioned as I am studying in the mental health field. I found two points interesting and vital. The first about individuality and not labelling people, and the other about good traits being innate and natural, and uncovering them when they are not active. Good work Dr Breeding - Keep it up

  • good post, i always appreciate a post from dr. breeding. a good guy with a good head on his shoulders.

  • omg!!! its mr. garrison from south park in REAL LIFE!!!

  • this is fantastic. it carries over to the fact that parents as well as govt. think they need to control due to the fact that they don't understand how humans work. we will be far better off when left alone to a certain extent.

  • Those were the days. It was a felony and you could go to the federal pen for not "volunteering" for the draft. There was a good deal more losses with death than in the Mid East. Just cause everyone is being bullied, doesn't mean you cannot stand against it. The only problem was the federal government would grab and kill your ass before you even had a chance to vote. We live in a fairly creepy culture.

  • You know what i was being prepared for growing up? Pretty much flame thrower in Viet Nam. Why are adults like that? They gotta kill you "accidentally" in war, and they gotta get rich or important doing it.. People are crazy dude. If you don't isolate yourself you will get caught up in the ambiant death dealing. If you do not become a suck up back stabbing on board kind of person, you will be no one in our culture. Sucks huh? You could end up in the Federal Pen for not throwing napalm..

  • What you gotta do is figure out how to make them into puzzlers when there is so much forcing them to be gamers. If a person is going to be Hitler maybe there is nothing to stop them. The biggest deal is getting your kids to learn something without a great deal of fear and dread. Where i came from there was no real education but a great deal of fear and dread learning. Also know as hierearchal learning or indoctrination. It is basically getting accustomed to the atrocities of history.

  • John Breeding needs to eat a couple of hamburgers man.. You look like you eat a leaf of lettuce a day.

  • Five stars for your thoughts about children. Thank you.

  • love it... Tiger 1, Tiger 2... I like your words today... inherent lover was within us from the beginning...

  • Saint John Breeding

  • agreed. nice mate

  • Nice hair cut and beard trim! Lookin sharp sir!

  • @ion1984 LOL lookin like a pedo!

  • Bravo. Looking forward to this series. Dr. Breeding rocks.

  • anger is a good thing. when you are angree you need to relise that anger.

anyway i asked my pdoc what makes you think i have schizophrenia if there is no known test. she replyed because you have the sytoms. i said if i had sytoms of four legs, baeutifull white coat and a magical horn on my head would that make me a unicorn

  • LOL...

  • He said Thursday August 28th. The 28th was a Friday

  • This is very useful information for me. I especially like the idea that gentleness, responsibility, and other positive behaviors are inherent so when there are problems then we as caretakers and parents need to ask, what is blocking the inherent nature? I think children will feel the trust and support and the adults will feel more energy, and good behaviors will surface more quickly. :-)

  • What's wrong with selling books? I don't think helping people and making a living are mutually exclusive. It's actually kind of ideal.

  • What an insightful man ! May God (in the broadest sense of the word) give him oportunities to spread this message over and over again

  • Gotta make money to eat.

  • i think in the end he's right...

  • dr.phil ? since when is "dr".phil a doctor.

  • u gain the docter when you get a high enough qualification

  • If I'm wrong, please enlighten me, please!

    Thank you!

  • Well his books help people...

He releases 1 video every month if that? 13 minutes out of 31 days I'm pretty sure leaves time to help people...

The video itself is helping people...

Aside from all that, there is nothing wrong with selling books, especially if you're a Ph.D. What do you think its a western novel? You WANT PhD's writing books, otherwise you're guaranteed pseudo-science nonsense.
