  • me vale verga tu video

  • alt+tab is from windows xp it wasnt adopted from anything

  • I'll use Windows for games and some school stuff.

  • I have both. They're both fantastic OS's, but I'll go with Mac for speed, ease of use and entertainment.

  • I have been using windows for the past 8 years and bought a macbook air two days ago. I can use both OS's because im not a retard. Both have good points and bad points when it comes down to it - the better choice depends on your OWN needs and comes down to personal preference. Dont be a fanboy, use whats best suits you and stop arguing over stupid shit you nerds.

  • @BreadForButter yeah dude

this is the first time i saw this kinda comment

or else i have just seen people writin shit about each other

    they both are awesome

snow leopard is used in hollywwod for its high def video editing

and windows is used in it companies, houses, and also by children

    i dont have a mac....i have windows 7.....but i have used a mac

and i think both are good in their own way

  • I a Mac and Windows user. I will have pick Windows 7.

  • you are such a idiot

you don't need to drag app to the trash to remove it to from the dock, just move it out of the dock - anywhere!! -.-

  • At Microsoft's website they are letting people download windows 9 beta and i have downloaded it and its pretty cool :)

  • People at microsoft's website they letting people download windows 9 beta ive downloaded it and its pretty cool :)

  • just run both os's on a machine you built to your own spec, like me :)

  • Take it from me guys.... I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE WINDOWS MACHINES! IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME! I GET NOTHING BUT ERROR MESSAGES! I'm getting a mac book pro. I can't stand windows anymore!!!!!

  • @thefinalfrontier1701 fuck you probably just use it for looking up porn that why, fuck you fuck you

  • @thefinalfrontier1701 It's like I'm really in 1998

  • @manbuffpony insulting another piece of software isn't enough to convince me... why should i get to pc?? i would love to hear some insight and reasoning.

  • @manbuffpony apple systems are overpriced

  • lol im the 9999th viewer :D

  • cant wait for lion

  • Well I think its outrageous that Apple didn't put the i3 in their new 13", and they're charging RIDICULOUS amounts for a freaking intel core2duo.

They will not get my money. They failed by not putting in the i3, when it is completely possible to do so. Maybe they're too busy working on the iPhone.

  • To take app's off the dock, you don't need to drag to the trash, just off the dock anywhere on the screen.

  • Why even mention the proc. speed? 2 brains versus one is no comparison at all. Maybe your friend experienced 7 on that laptop and is doing this review, which makes it impossible to compare to that mac book pro. Maybe not... either way, this isn't a comparison. Sans performance review, the rest was straight.

  • Dude, you dont have to drag them to the bottom to make them half screen, just drag them to the edge of the screen and BAM, halfscreen.

  • you dont have to right click to pin to super bar in win7 you just drag it on

  • I like coming on these kinds of videos just to argue with people! Ok so someone reply, I will give you something to go on: Windows 7 ROCKS!

  • @MRCrashFusion lol, u said the same thing on the other mac vs win. videos. but i agree, i prefer win7.

  • I've been a PC since birth, and I have to say I'm really sick of Windows. I'm not hugely informed on computers, but I definitely use them a lot and have had experience with Macs also. I have to say I like the interface of PC's better, but Macs to me seem to have more efficient battery life, less problems, and a LOT less freezing/crashing.

The next laptop I buy is going to be a Mac.

  • I only watched this because it had 6666 views

  • You do know you don't have to right click to pin something to the taskbar? And that expose thing has been in Windows for a while, starting with Vista (Although not as smooth in Vista).

  • could you not have used a tripod or something

  • osx 10?? It's OS X or OS 10.

  • i'm a dude.

  • Linux has "Add to Panel" also Windows 7 looks more like KDE than Mac OS... Linux also has expose and spaces in "compiz fusion", and for that matter so does BSD. Mac get the ideas of Liquid Mac , and 3D Cube from Linux, and BSD. We also have invert colors like Mac.

Fun Fact : Mac OS uses code from BSD ,and Apple made a Linux distribution call MKLinux.. Apple did this shortly after NeXTSTEP OS that was started by Steve Jobs... This set the path for OS X , before this Apple was going bankrupt.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate boots on my TouchSmart in 19 sec. last time i checked.

  • theres just so much work on windows...against viruses, crashes, everything...but with mac you dont have to worry

  • @heavenofficial

Actually, you have to worry even more. If a Mac gets a virus, the likelihood is that you have to completely wipe the OS and start over. With Windows, though more susceptible to a common virus, the need to format or wipe the OS is not the only solution. I know Mac users who've gotten viruses. 100% of the time it results in an OS format. I have a PC with Norton and Win. Defender. Not one Issue yet. 6 Months and counting.....

  • @AndrewDeLong What you are saying is misleading @ best. For the most part if a Mac gets malware (this is usually spyware), it is almost always easy to fix with a cash clean. I am a Network Administrator that deals with both Macs and Windows. You rarely have to wipe a Mac unless you misuse it horribly, and although not as rare, if you take care of your Windows computer, it will last a long time as well.

  • @Front24237

Well, it might be a rarity to you, and that's fine, given your experience. However, my Lab professor at college has a Mac, and somehow got a virus (or some other equally destructive "program" (for lack of a better word). She contacted Apple tech support (Mac Geniuses). After trying every solution they could think of, they decided to wipe her HDD and reinstall everything. Granted, it's a rarity, but a Mac getting a virus with no added security to detect it can result in a wipe.

  • my windows 7 boot is only about 13 secs i keep it clean

  • @macuser5555 My Windows 7 boots in 15 seconds on my desktop last I checked.

  • @sbrideau2000 Yeah, but that's after you tweaked the hell out of it and stopped all the pre-loading. The real question is BUT DOES IT WORK? LOL. A Mac can do it without wasting a whole weekend tweaking. You PC fanboys need to stop defending your janky ass Windows machines against Macs. LOL.

  • @macuser5555 I didn't need to tweak anything. I just didn't buy an hp or dell prebuilt computer that comes with a shitload of crapware from the companies. Also that's why first thing I do when I buy a prebuilt computer -> I format it, takes the same amout of time as the initial installation but doesn't have any of the crapware that came preinstalled.

I'm just telling the truth here, you mac fanboys should stop saying macs are the best etc, as far as I know programs are the same and also speed.

  • @sbrideau2000 Macs are the best, bar none. What you don't see are Mac users constantly defending their computers like PC users. That's all you Windows fanboys do is defend, defend, defend. Why? Because no matter which way you look at it it's still a common Windows machine with the same crap. No matter which way you tweak Windows, it's STILL WINDOWS and that's the downfall.

  • @macuser5555 Actually, Windows is not the downfall and has learned from mistakes. What do you do about viruses and hackers on macs? You don't have antiviruses good enough to protect you and you don't learn the knowledge to repair the errors, you just format the mac and go back from new. With windows it's quite easy to get protected.

If windows is the downfall, so is Mac OS [...] and Linux distros like Ubuntu or Fedora are the way to go. Get a virus or a hacker, you can repair directly in code.

  • @sbrideau2000 Well, see that's where you fail. There are NO known viruses, spyware or malware on a Mac. We don't need those useless anti-virus software on a Mac like Windows. Please spare me the crap that it will be just a matter of time before viruses are on Macs or that nobody cares to write them. Either way, there are NO known viruses on Macs, PERIOD. You can't argue that. Another thing Mac OS X is built on top of UNIX, it's very secure. Windows is not, period.

  • @macuser5555 You're very wrong, there are viruses for macs too, and a mac has been hacked in under one minute. You can't do that on windows unless you make a pop-up of a fake antivirus or something. Also, I find that macs are taking their ideas from the linux community since the things that come out on macs are basically things that were on linux before hand on some occasions.

  • @sbrideau2000 Well, just to make you feel better, I'll let you keep on believing that. LOL.

  • @macuser5555 Lol, like most other mac fanboys, your ignorance is very high. I can give you proof there are viruses on macs, and even on iphones and ipods if you jailbreak them.

All the popular OSes are pretty much the same thing nowadays, may it be Mac OSX, Windows or Ubuntu. I was on linux for a while and came back to Windows because of its flexibility and compatibility, which you don't have with macs.

  • @sbrideau2000 And as usual every Windows-lover is defensive and can't stand the fact that Windows is a very insecure system and Macs are very secure. Keep saying what you want but to date there are no known viruses on Macs and even if there are it hasn't impacted anyone. So sick of you Mac haters who always have to defend Windows, it's not Windows that's insecure, it's Microsoft Fanboys that are.

  • @macuser5555 Why are you so defensive of your beloved macs? I've used macs as well, and at the base they're all the same.

I also know mac users what will tell you that there are viruses on macs. Only reason there aren't as many (well, there are known viruses, but not as much as windows) is that there aren't many mac users. That's why lately you hear more about mac viruses too, there's a little more people using macs nowadays.

  • @macuser5555 Also, Windows has become more secure, with software detecting the viruses (which you don't find on macs) plus multiple warnings when you download a program.

Nowadays with viruses, the best antivirus is our head, but things can still slip past. I've been on windows for around 3 years (was in dual boot with different linux distros as time passed) and I have yet to get a virus on my windows machine. I've heard of people getting viruses on macs and jailbreaked ipods/iphones.

  • @sbrideau2000 Well, I'll let you end as the winner of argument that I no longer care to participate in. Okay, Windows is more secure than Macs. Macs are no longer secure, in fact Windows 7 beats the Mac OS and UNIX in terms of security. In fact, you're much better off security-wise using a Windows machine than a Mac. Chances are very good that Macs will jeopardize our security and Windows is MUCH safer. There!!!!, now I can spit the throw up out of my mouth.

  • @macuser5555 If you say that, you didn't understand the argument AT ALL. Nothing will beat UNIX/Linux security wise, and macs aren't insecure. That's just that if you get a virus or something, it's likely you will have to wipe the system.

I wasn't going to continue, but you just proved to me that you were a mac fanboy.

  • I had a little go of a mac and it's that worst thing ever, they just took ubuntu and got rid of the good stuff and added a shitty dock.

  • @defcon2XX8 YOu're an idiot. Just accept the truth. Just to be clear, I meant for you to accept the fact that you're an idiot. WIndows fanboys are so jealous and threatened by the Macintosh.

  • Not that any of this matters( actually I think it matters a lot), but both OSs should have similar spec to be even considered comparing.

For example, the cpu should be similar. A 2.xx GHz cpu will be a lot faster than a 1.xx GHz cpu.

Not sure if Mac's RAM can be upgraded but the RAM also plays in the account of boot time.

And this is for Windows OS. DId you disable most of the startup services. The more, the slower the boot time.

That's just my opinion(man i can be full of shit!)

  • @2010ngojo

He only compared features to the Macs, not actual performance, but he did note that even with a slower processor Windows7 ran surprisingly smooth even against a processor that's 2x faster on an OS said to be much smoother then Windows. I think it's fair if you let all the factors add up. I don't hate Macs, hell I don't even dislike them, I just wont find myself using one. lol

  • my windows 7 on my sony vaio boots up completely in like 20 seconds....

  • Comment removed

  • @fp3shb lol you are so right. I have both and I find that 7 is very similar to Snow Leopard.. But 7 is still nice, not as nice as the Xos but nice

  • Comment removed

  • lmao i totally agree.

  • it's not pronounced OS EX It's OS TEN X is the roman numeral for the number ten wise guy -___-

  • @mikey626boyy1 Wrong.

  • @mikey626boyy1 I think it's depending on where you live. I heard only 1 guy in my life in sweden saying "OS TEN" (swedish it's "OS TIOO")...Everyone says "OS EX" because "OS TEN"/"OS TIOO" just sounds/feels so weird to say..

  • @mikey626boyy1 it is MAC OS X, X mean is 10.~ ~ the version

  • @mikey626boyy1 some guys call it OS EX and some others call it OS TEN, no big deal bro.

  • mac's is twice as expensive and stil not better..

  • @zzxcrozzy

Yeah... because YOUR trackpad is solid state, right?

    That's just ONE example. :)

  • you are paying for the name and the little apple sign

  • yeah, thats right..

  • windows 7 ultimate 64bit + mac os x snow leopard + windows xp professional & media center edition 32bit on a 27" iMac with 16gb ddr3 ram and3.33ghz processor, 1tb hdd 7200rmp + alienware customizability = THE ULTIMATE FRICKING PC!!!!

  • this is a shitty video dude

  • Both OSs are great, but each have disadvantagas. using mac OSX alone is like living in a room with walls. it's hard to get programs that are compatible with it, unlike windows.

though it is superbly stable, since the software is custom made for the hardware itself.

Windows pcs on the other hand, isn't as stable as the osx. BUT, programs are easier to find. windows 7 is almost as fast as mac osx, but nowhere near its stability. pc owners like me must admit that.

    Both have disadvantages.

  • This whole debate as to which is better Mac or Windows is SAAAAAADD ! reminds me of the sad geeks that used to argue which was better, Atari or Amiga, get a life.. you only bought it.. you didnt invent it !

  • I am using Leopard, but I still liked Snow Leopard, so guys use Snow Leopard.

  • WINDOWS 7

  • yes if u do test with CPU complety different if u see the valutation of the computer with Win Seven is 3.0 shit is not the same of Mac Book... ASSHOL

  • windows 7 is better

  • windows and mac are both cool but i liked mac more than windows !!!!!!!

  • Why does everyone use the same sentence:

"No matter how you look at it, it still is windows"

    oh yeah? well here's mine.

No matter how you look at it, it still is OSX

  • Because Apple used that line at the WWDC. They break it down to Windows 7 is still windows 1.0. you cant add looks and think it will be better.

OS X isnt still the old OS X.

Sowleopard - GCS, 64 bit only, and open CL

    leopard - 300 new features

    etc.

windows 7 - rip off mac with homegroup, music streaming, the dock.

then areo snap and multitouch... WOW worth $100-$400 NO!

  • vista to 7 had a lot more changes and features compare to leopard to snow leopard - _ -

  • @Kimarey

Mac already had all the features they added to 7 except areo snap.

  • @aegnt09 yeah. but a lot of the stuff that were introduced in Snow Leopard that Leopard didn't have were shown with the Windows 7 beta. So a lot of the stuff that Snow Leopard has now, was done in Windows 7 beta before Snow Leopard was even announced.

  • There is one thing I like about windows 7 tho. It finds your drivers. now it's up to OS X standards as far as drivers. but still so far behind in everything else.

  • have used window since 96 and mac since 04... EVERY new windows works great out of the box! then grinds to a halt in about 3 months! give it time! I have never had a problem on mac! in the words of public enemy.. don't believe the hype!!

ohhh and W7 has a dock!??! WOW... seems to be the only update from vista....in the real world!! buy W7 and come back in 4 years and tell me it works as smooth as it does now! .... doubt it!

  • what are you talkinig about???

it just majically stops after 3 months???

that is the most rediculous claim i have ever heard!!!

I have used xp, vista, and 7, and never had this type of problem, i have also used mac OSX, the only thing i notice is how long it takes to change my background: and how slow office products load even though the computer has a 2.2gghz processor...

  • EVERY windows os works great out of the box... 96, xp, vista m.e.-used them ALL... great smooth and working... then after you actually USE the in the real world..ie on the net and e mail installing programs etc the whole things gets slow and clunky!

everyone is going "wow W7 is so quick and smooth" give it time!! I have used both for music production, vid editing and general life... and so far windows hasn't come CLOSE.. and W7 just looks like much of the same!

  • I have used windows 7 form the beta Started when that was in January i think.

I Upgraded the day it came out never had a problem. that's more then 3 months tell em why my system isn't clunky?

  • @coherentconvolution1 I think what he means is that computers that come with windows 7 aren't always up to scratch and within a few movements the hardware dies or the PC gets clogged up. Your comment about change the background is ludicrous and about the slow office products try updating it once and a while that was fixed ages ago! The office software is now is up to speed comparing to windows :)

  • @coherentconvolution1 not too ridiculous my mom had an HP, she owns her own business. it crashed after 3 months, she lost all her data, got it fixed crashed again a few days later, received a new hard drive it crashed for the final time. she's a heavy pc user not sure if this happens as often as it did. but she was very dissatisfied... has been a mac owner ever since

  • @coherentconvolution1 ahahahah dose mac play games? OWNEDDDDD!

  • @coherentconvolution1 you are wrong. i used to use pc and unless you spend ages fixing it and cleaning it windows is rendered shit very quickly!

  • Well your obviously a apple fanboy I have used windows since the first day 2000 came out never had a problem since no BOD.

    Nothing!

  • @wwjjtt thats because your a noob.

  • @wwjjtt

Ummm, I've had Win 7 since the first full updates were out..and it still works as fine as ever. Also, Macs have this interesting little issue of needing to be completely wiped when they do get a virus. With a Win. OS, that's not always the case. Ddos...gotta love it.

  • @wwjjtt

I've been running Windows XP for many years now (More then you've stated.) and my computer runs wonderfully to this day, without needing to reformat once. This pc runs Top Notch for it's day, and even for today. Now unless you're a dumbass that doesn't know how to properly use a computer, Windows is a Great piece of software, and in my opinion the best. Not for -Everything- but you can do Anything a mac can. Stop being such a fanboy of apple, and go play with your overpriced toy.

  • @wwjjtt Mate, I have had the same laptop for about 3 years, and it's all the same...

  • @wwjjtt Windows clogs up over time and fragments your hard drive amongst over issues. OSX is built off Unix which actually gets FASTER over time due to the way it manages files etc. an ya, Win 7 has a dock, i'd still take the OSX dock any day.

  • @wwjjtt you, my friend, are a complete moron. If you're PC is doing that, then it's 100% user error. You got to be smarter than the product that you're using.

  • @wwjjtt Win 7 crashed on me as well... lcoked up opening word. It only too 3-4 months before it started loading almost daily security patches and working like crap. meanwhile...OSX on a mac: no crashes since it was installed in 2004. And it just gets better! OSX is new, modern, bulletproof. WIn 7 is like a 2010 pickup truck made with 1988 parts that no one knows how to access.

  • good video but on windows 7 you don't have to drag it to the lower corner of the screen to get it to snap to the side you just drag it to the side. and on the mac to remove something from the dock you just drag it out not into the trash.

  • Spotlight has been around since tiger in 2005. If you click show all under the spotlight it will bring up a finder windows with the search results listed and then go to view in menu bar and select show "path bar", that will show the path of the folder and files.

Nothing really special about Windows 7, just a different task . under it all Windows 7 is still just ..... Windows.

  • Excellent video you guys, nice and fair on each sides. And to you PC fanboys posting comments, Snow Leopard easily kicks the crap out of W7. All W7 has is a better Taskbar. WOW, BIG SHIT. It's the same old Vista.

  • windows 7 kicks snow leopard's ass. why would I just a snow leopard to run my computer when they were are just narrowly escaping extinction in real life?! poor choice in names apple... poor choice... woot for micro!

  • what the hell kinda logic is that its just a name im not against Microsoft and im a mac user, but by your logic who the hell names an operating system 7, but i think this competition is a good thing it forces both of them to make better operating systems and did you know these two companies actually make software for each other, just like office for mac and itunes for windows

  • Windows 7 looks pretty smooth! I can't wait until it comes out!!!
