  • i really wanna see this movie

  • I have to see this movie I love friesian horses and am interested in owning a friesian one day ^.^

  • I want to see this movie!!!!!!

  • What is the name of this song or musik?

  • I see you discuss the friesian color! Black is the ONLY color allowed in the friesian pedigree book. BUT many friesians have a chestnut gene (now days friesians tests before they are allowed in the pedigree book to see if they have the chestnut gene), the ones with this gene usually turns brownish during summer, there are also known cases of chestnut friesians! though they are very rare. Sadly I don't remember how they first started develop this gene though :(

  • is this actually going to be a movie??

  • Can I use some of these clips?

  • @Donkeytricks This is a (c) movie. I would not recommended it.

  • I don't care for the sportier models. I wish the classic Friesians would come back into fashion. I don't understand the stupid trends in the horse world. :/

  • Here is a red/chestnut pure bred Friesian stallion. redfriesianstallion (dot) com

  • At 0:52 what is that type of modern buggy pulled competition called? I would love to try that after I get dressage down.

  • pure friesians are always black; born brown but always grow to be black . the brownish look is from the sun bleaching the black coat and fringes of the mane and tail.

  • Sanne I belive your thinking of the Gypsy Vanner horses. They are of many colors. Check them out.

  • @loralene207 no I am talking about the friesians and Gypsy is in dutch tinker mostly known for black/white horses and comes from travelers around the uk so I know what I am talking about Frisians or better be said as Fries is a black horse and comes from the province Friesia. in the past not of now a days the friesians of centuries ago weren't only black. Some even write about a lot of different colors. Even televisions once told about it that they where in different colors.

  • @sannetussch22 :O but I don;t find any english site were it really stands when I find it in dutch I find it in just seconds.

  • When do the movie?

  • @memmex1 actually yes there is a fox red friesian. It is extremely rare though.

  • pretty pretty horses! you know having Friesians in movies was a bit like product placement for marketing this breed to the world.

  • i com from the nederlands the birthplace of the frieisian and in ore land we say fries. and yes i'm proud on the beauty of the friesian and i like it soooooooow much people also like him its a hollands beautyi don't want to be stupid bud nederlands horses are beautiful ore not ? xD

  • @jennekemj Some of the Dutch horses are really pretty, like the Friesians and some types of our KWPN-bred horses, but not all. Oh well, horses are beautiful creatures anyway ^^ We may be proud of them~.

  • :) beautiful creatures but I am still wondering how the Frisian would look like in the other colors because in the past it was known as a horse with more colors then black and (the brownish color)

  • @sannetussch22

it appears in an other colour, but it's not very common, it think its chetsnut but i'm not sure...

  • @savanjafieke friesians never come in that color

  • @sannetussch22 They've always been black. Darker or lighter, but black! Maybe you're referring to other big horses such as the Shire, Gipsy Vanner, etc...

  • @VeneratioDiaboli no, I am right in the past maybe even centuries ago the Frisians had different colors now a days they only have black and fox colored Frisians left. You know they only wanted to have black Frisians so all of them got killed when being a different color and the fox colored one has something to do with gens. So in other words Frisians are maybe beautiful but hasn't such a nice history.

  • @sannetussch22 Yes, in the middle-age horses from Friesia had various colours. But the breed as we know it now has been set in the year 1879 by 22 breeders. After world war 1 only 3 stallions and more than a hundred mares were left, they spread after world war 2 and in 1954 Queen Juliana gave to the Friesians' breeding society a noble title, becoming its guardian. The rest is history :)

  • @VeneratioDiaboli and that why I said I would love to know how they where in the time they where still in a different colors so yeah how they looked like centuries ago :)

  • @sannetussch22 Well I think they looked very different from how they look today. Heavier and with less grace in movements, apart from the colour. Cheers!

  • @sannetussch22 Fresians are black.

  • @myhorseizbetter not if they're crossed with something else... haha

  • @KelseyKayeRoss well then they are no longer a true fresian are they??? ya.. lol that would be a mix breed not a fresian.

  • @myhorseizbetter

    haha well that failed :L

  • @KelseyKayeRoss haha

  • @VeneratioDiaboli no shire is a super big horse, gipsy vanner (tinker) is a black and white horse from travelers around the uk (they where black and white so they could find the horse easily when stolen) the friesian has a history that it had differnet colors but I can't find anything in english about it in dutch I find it in seconds it even stands on the top.

  • My dream horse! i have made a promise to myself that one day i will atleast ride a friesian. they are absolutly beautiful and look stunning!

  • when did it or when is it coming out?

  • they can do anything!!!

  • Oh goodness, they are breathtaking!

  • Black angels :) <3

  • :o !!! I want to see the moviee ! ♥

  • so so so so so Cuit :P :)

  • 1- if you think friesians are 'cookie cutter' horses, you haven't taken the time to get to know one. Consistency in breed type is a plus. If you can't count on that, you don't have a 'breed'. Personlity? Mine thinks it's tremendously funny to flip over my McDonalds cup.

2 - if your morgan think's he part friesian, he's probably right! I've read that one of the foundations of the morgan breed is the friesian. more power to him! Or to put it in friesian terms - TROT ON!

  • wow is all that i can say x

  • they all look identical, no diversity.....guess some folks like cookie cutter horses .... : (

  • @AnywhereButHere09 it's easy for someone to say that they're all 'cookie cutter horses', and i used to agree with that notion (i'm a die hard Appaloosa girl). that is until a Friesian mare arrived at the stable i work at. she has the most personality i've ever seen radiate from a horse. they may seem physically similar to each other, but they've got hearts of gold and are gentle souls.

  • Friesians are so stunning. Just seeing one move I get chills and tears in my eyes. My dream breed.

  • I love the friesian at 0:50 <3

  • friesians r one of my favorite breeds i luv them ppl look at me wierd when i identify them in sum movies ;]

  • @vegetasawsome1 haha me too!!!! and i point them out in ever single movie that i see with a friesian. they seriously are some of the most beautiful horses out there. its hard to believe they were once almost extinct.

  • @razrbladefaerie its cool to be able to do that my family say "really?" when i point them out hehe

  • Awsome! I have always thought friesians are such a gorgeous noble breed. My solid black morgan thinks he is one lol. Is this an actually documentary coming out or was it made for fun?

  • i love friesians

  • Friesians - the true black beauties of all time.

This is an original breed - straight from the garden Eden, created by Abba for mans benefit - not just their beauty but for their grace in movement - their strength in athletics and their gentleness of nature, truly a treasure to praise Abba for.

    Thank you Abba.

To all you who appreciate this magnificent animal -
