  • you can buy non corosive tracers made recently they're all that hard to get go to a gun store you can buy them for much cheaper

  • Those should not be used in a hand gun .....

  • This is extremely high pressure designed for the UZI sub-machine gun and it is also corrosive being from the 70s. I have successfully shot it through my Beretta 92FS, but the Glock is a hammer-less gun and the firing pin does not strike the primer hard enough to detonate all of the rounds. I wouldn't even shoot it in most 9mm handguns as you might damage them.

  • yah Israel builds great weapons and makes great ammo. there whole country depends on it.

  • I never use tracers. They weigh differently from whatever other ammo you are using, you can barely see them in daylight, and they give away your position at night.

  • Not all tracers are like this. Many companies online load up their own tracer compounds and sell the stuff new (much newer then that 1979 stuff). They also have a much brighter trace. Best thing to do is buy a pile of surplus 5.56 or 308/3006 tracers (or 50BMG if you can afford it) and blast away with those, problem is you need 300+ yards since most don't light until past 100+yds. the 50BMG stuff is especially cool. VERY bright.

  • I got a 50 box of tracers from cheaper then dirt for what must have been 20$. They work alright, I did get a stove pipe and failure to feed in the one 15 round factory 92f mag, but it coulda been the mag IDK...I have a large mix of mags and have never had any other problems sept failure to last round lock open with 18 round mags and non-brass cased loads in the mil spec phosphowhatsits coated mags...and one out of the 15 tracers didn't light up :/

  • That did look cool!

  • There just old dry gunpowder in the bullet.

  • haha knob creek haha

  • wow wtg gi joe

  • Great Video ..

  • TRACERS WORK BOTH WAYS

  • Ok, obviously you do not have many US Army watchers. That is not intended for firearms. 9mm tracers are used in converted AT-4 rocket launcher simulators to train at reduced cost. The higher pressure loading is not related to SAMMI spec, but to simulate the trajectory of the rocket.

Hope I answered a few questions for you. Love the videos.

  • @majinojinn We do the same in the Swedish army. The fist thing they told us when they showed us the 9mm tracer was the you should never ever use them in a handgun or smg.

  • Well , I will know not to buy any of them for my 9MM/ S&W ,

  • Friend of mine got some similar, very hot rounds, some took a second strike hit, to go off.I had seen your vid,and told him what I think the issue was. Man those rounds were kicking major flames....would they be safe in a Beretta 92?

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 The trouble that I would worry about with any major overpressure in a beretta 92 is if the gun couldn't take it, the barrel would turn straight into shrapnel. I love berettas, don't get me wrong, but in a Glock, Springfield xd, S&W M&P, or 1911 variant, the slide envelopes the barrel, so if it were to fail, there is some kind of cover over the flying pieces, not so with a 92. Be careful man, good shooting.

  • 9 bucks per twenty? I quess i just found new venue - just dip tip of the 9x19 in red paint and sell on gunshows

  • @DudeNumberOnePlus you would.

  • Green tracers work the best thanks though

  • Hey, Stupid; all sorts of manufacturers use used brass. You suck.

  • @spurrit No they dont..

  • @Thelemorf Go to a gun show and look @ the headstamps from the smaller manufacturers some time. Check the headstamps on range ammo @ indoor ranges. You still suck.

  • I would call the ATF on him for selling dangerous ammo..

  • @ExtremeTruckerDave that last thing we need is the ATF. All they need is some excuse to start taking more of our stuff away

  • what $9 that amazing

  • why.. what purpose do you need tracers, specifically for pistols.. has no practicality.

    tracers work both ways..

  • We have to get over this idea that Israel makes good things or is even an ally of the US.

They steal technology, military secrets, spy on us & then try to get their spies released once caught! (Jonathan Pollard).

    Israel is an expensive parasite.

  • @trigon1962 all goverments do the same thing

  • @mik301080 Name a secret that the US stole from Israel & sold to their enemies...

By the way, remember the F35 fighter plan? It costed the US 300 billion dollars, about 1.5 terrabytes of plans were stolen by Israel which included the stealth material, engines, ducting EVERYTHING.

Israeli spying is so severe because the US public is kept in the dark about it due to pressure from "the lobby".

I've sent a link to the article.

It's the worst case of spying in history & the timid media is silent.

  • its designed for light SMG's like the UZI Full auto, and The MAC 10 Full Auto. the powder is very corrosive and can clog a gun quick if its not meant for it. this is one of those study up and do your reasearch before you buy it type of deals. it would deffantely do the full auto UZI some justice!!

  • @Darkfloyd73 but that is A ripoff for a pack of ten...

  • @Darkfloyd73 old ammo with old powder thats probably been exposed to moisture. and the firing pin in your glock is not meant for that ammo to begin with. so even when you fire it its going to show up not as bright. a few vets told me that some old 9mm combat handguns will work for this old ammo if you reload them. Browning High Power. the 9mm Israili Police/Military pistols based on the BHP. 9mm Helwan depending on the shape and how its maintained. then you get your moneys worth. nice find tho!!

  • Knob Creek vendors are all scam artists.

  • Shame on this guy for selling this crap for a buck a round. At gun shows it's "Buyer Beware" (and in CA the fuckhead probably would have been working for the cops as well).

  • the stuff was made for fixed firing pin open bolt sub machine guns ie UZI. also ive read that it is corrosive.

  • Another interesting round Ide love to see you review is the Fiocchi "Expansion Mono-Block" they advertise MV of 1300 FPS and they basically talk about how it penetrates hard targets while expanding in soft targets...ide love to know if its hype or if it really is a quality round.

  • wassup im searching online gun store sombody know were to go

  • Its just magnesuem.

  • If the ammo is just old it can be okay to use, I think. I've used Romanian surplus in 8mm Mauser and it works well, it's just corrosive and runs really hot in my Kar 98, but it all shoots. I even once shot some original german ammo made in 1945 but I felt bad and stopped wasting those pieces of history.

  • @ViCe1986 .... your right. i own a 1927 sks and the old Soviet ammunition works lot better and cheaper than the walmart 7.62 bullshit

  • You should buy an Uzi so your 9 bucks doesn't go to waste...

  • OLD BULLETS NO USE....

  • SUBSCRIBED!!!!!

  • you hate on this guy for buying UZI ammo but it just said 9mm on the package how was he supposed to know that it was only ment for the UZI? It sounded like he did his research on the ammo after he purchased it and it misfired.

  • Good on you for the heads up warning. That is always appreciated.

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck u.s.a

  • @jarekk133 Q: Why wasn't Christ born in Poland?

A: Because they couldn't find three wisemen and a virgin.

  • ok first, they're not 115 or 120 grain. A tracer round is a copper jacket only( no lead),

that's why the bounce around, they weigh almost nothing. I've used some in my

Beretta without any misfires but some had less than spectacular tracer. I'm sure

there are many different varieties, look for the freshest looking ones.

  • This is what I dislike about some Americans, yes I'm American anyway a lot of these gun lovers love using weapons but do not know how to use their brains and learn a thing or two about weapons, just learning how to shoot or load a gun it not good enough and that why a lot of these idoits get shot or hurt by their own guns b/c the idoits do not anything about the weapon other than the name and type of bullet b/c of idoits like that is why the right to bear arms is a issue.

  • @mrcoolj008 You could always leave if you dont like those exercising their rights? :)

  • I quess you can not read here let me make it kindergarten proof. Because of -some- Americans that buy guns and do not know how to use them and end up hurting themselves or others is the reason why some people want to take away our right to bear arms that the -Issue-. Unless you are saying that we should let reckless gunowners the- idoits- put other people lives in danger, then you have lost it. Yes I'm being a jerk but it so you learn to read not look dumb, thanks...

  • @mrcoolj008 You did a good job making yourself look like an idiot is about all...I'm not for idiots with guns but I wont be the one to tell them they can't have one, and I hope they use theirs on whoever comes knocking to take it.

  • tracers for a 9mm, why? is the shooter trying to hit a 300 meter target with a 9mm or something? If you need tracers to hit at a target that is close, then you really should not own a gun since you can not aim at all and more likey will miss, hanguns are for close engagments.Unless you are just doing it for fun, there should be no use for a 9mm tracer, just get a laser for the handgun. Besides using tracers makes it harded to clean a gun.

  • @mrcoolj008

The round is made for a 9mm Uzi sub machine gun, which tracers will help seeing it is a automatic weapon. It is NOT designed to be fired in a Glock pistol, the fool is lucky to se breathing and have both eyes functioning.

  • @ViCe1986.I see when I was in the military we only use tracers for the m4 or m16 or for the m249 saw never did use tracers for mp5,so I really do not know much guns on the civ side only military type weapons, but yeah he is lucky, it annoys me but people like him are the kind of people that makes gun owners or gun users look like idoits and will end having the right to bear arms taken away b/c of idoits like him,At NC gunshow parkinglot a idoit shot himself while unloading his gun.

  • @mrcoolj008 I take it you haven't watched any of his other videos. The package says 9mm- he thought it would be fun to shoot tracers out of his glock. I hate to burst your bubble, but some people like shooting for fun. Nothing this guy does is idiotic or unsafe either

  • 2:33 battlefield 3!!!

  • tracers are always corrosive and not recomended for barrels not lined with chromium also you only load a tracer every third or fifth round millitary use is the only practical application and by the way glocks are garbage get a real pistol 1 with a hammer

  • even with a titanium firing pin and a 6pd spring?

  • can you share some of the sites you find the hard to find ammo? gold dot 124 +P, Federal HST 147 +P, etc. Thanks-

  • @MrHardPressed Try gunbroker, Item=273098536

  • so you bought overpriced 30 y/o ammo and were shocked at the failure rate. O ya its that its a glock and not a sub. Even tho the primer has a deep primer strike. yea makes sense....

  • This ammo is +P+ loaded and you are lucky your hand and gun is in one piece. There is a reason for the hard primer. Use only in UZI and guns certified for overcharged ammo.

  • @M60E4ME +P+ is just fine in a Glock

  • @alexrex20 You can in some models that are certified but Glock states not to shoot overcharged ammo frequently. It will wear down the gun faster.

  • @M60E4ME exactly, they say not to shoot it frequently. they don't say to never shoot it. tnoutdoors9 shot a few dozen rounds at most. you're still wrong.

  • @alexrex20 These rounds are for the Uzi machine gun not Glocks. Thats why they won't fire first try. Keep at it and you will break your gun.

  • @M60E4ME keep changing your story. you'll win eventually.

  • @alexrex20 The story is the same. Glock doesn't recommend this ammo, just read over it again if you are getting lost.

  • @M60E4ME Glock themselves say there is nothing wrong with firing +P or +P+ factory loads through any of their pistols. they just recommend against a steady diet of hot loads. you seem to think a Glock can't handle a couple dozen hot loads every now and then. you're wrong.

  • @alexrex20 My problem with this video isn't the Glock. Some Glock models and others like the M9 Beretta can handle occasional use of overcharged rds but most 9mm handguns can't withstand the increased chamber pressure of a +P+ submachine gun round without taking a lot of damage, potentially injuring the shooter. My problem with this video is that tnoutdoors9 fails to say that. That's what happens when amateurs try to look cool online.

  • @M60E4ME if tnoutdoors9 is the amateur, then maybe you should make your own videos instead of watching and commenting on his.

  • @M60E4ME I believe Glocks can handle +p and +p+ ammo. I wouldnt shoot them at a sustained high rate of fire however. I carry +p+ in my ccw G26. Your are correct statement regarding hardened primers. They were/are designed mostly for open bolt, slam fired weapons

  • @61vyper BTW...that Glock shouldve fired those hardend primers anyway..I run them in my glocks. My other 9mm weapons dont fair so well with them tho.

  • @61vyper Thats right but my problem with this video isn't the Glock. He doesn't explain that most pistols are not certified for this kind of ammo. The risk is obviously severe damage to gun, shooter and anybody close.

  • @M60E4ME I understand your concern regarding ruptured/punctured primers, However, Most weapons are designed with the ability to deal with this by venting/.channling hot gases and powder residue away from the shooter.

  • @M60E4ME Glocks are fine to shoot +P+.

  • @damiansorensen Yes but most other pistols are Not. That's my problem with this video.

  • Great Video! Equally as informative as it was entertaining!

  • You were fooled by israelis. American? You must be used to that for decades so no need to complain.

There is no problem with pin not strong hitting, those bullets are already at end of life which means primer won't work properly. So they can export trash to US and sell it and you can't do anything because doing something would be antisemitic. Making this video was also antisemitic. Ask your politicians to send some more hundred billions to them as compensation for damage caused by this video.

  • uh...fishing could be more fun

  • god do I miss those late summer crickets.

  • Will fire no problem in an HK. You get what you pay for.

  • @Taluvian ya, the plastic in an HK is worth twice as much as that in a Glock...

  • Military round are made with hard primers to prevent accidental firing if dropped .

  • @supressorgrid No, they are to prevent slam fires from free floating firing pins when you close the bolt.

  • Knob Creek..

  • Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the head of Shas’s Council of Torah Sages and a senior Sephardi adjudicator. Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap., We will sit like an effendi and eat!”

The goyim is like a donkey to the Jews, they exist only to serve and are only allowed by G’d to live a long life because they are the beast of burden of the Jews. Were the goyim to stop serving Jews, g-d would end their lives”

Pls do not support these Terroist....

  • Many of you can't spell. Many of you can not put together a complete sentence. Which makes me think that many of you can't read. If you a person who is guilty of these grammatical crimes then please don't post, because you probably don't know what your talking about, and it makes me want to make fun of you. So next time you post, ask your self, is everything spelled right, is this a complete sentence, am I a qualified gunsmith to give a valid opinion? The answer is no. So don't post..You Idiot!

  • @hackneyfish ...........says the grammar nazi/gun expert named hackneyfish. Oh, and the last comma in the third sentence was unnecessary. The 2nd to last sentence wasn't complete, you should have combined it in a way that would read, "The answer is no, so don't post."

Grammar aside, stop being a toolbox (it's not name calling out of anger, it's a very simple observation). We're all just here to see what this man has to say about his tracers.

  • @Saigax12 You forgot to correct where I wrote "if you", should have written "if you're", and thanks for the advice. Never said I was a gun expert. Just not a fan of the majority of the bologna that people post on gun videos, it makes American gun owners look ridiculous and I hate that.

  • @hackneyfish who carez bout gramar? if you do - you'r in the wrong chanel. go post some place else like teachers of english language ASSociation or something like that. but so far you and your word spellcheck just making you look like a douchebag. or here is better advice: loose a couple dozen punds , get a girlfriend and move out of your parents house! lol...

  • @InfernalThunder *you're, *are just, *pounds

  • Hey IDIOT. It bet all your other ammunition isn't from 1979. Moron. Compare apples to apples and stop being a Jew hating Bigot.

  • @4Firearms Lol I tried hard to understand your sentence, Still don't understand it, Retard!

  • Who the FUK in their right mind would by ammo from 1979? LOL Idiot.

  • @4Firearms

In Iraq we were firing .50 Cal rounds manufactured in WWII and Korea as surplus. As long as the ammunition was stored properly in a cool dry place it can last indefinitely. I know for a fact that rounds made in 1943 fired like a boss 63 years later on the streets of Baghdad form the M2 on top of my HMMWV in 2006.

  • so..youve gotta be a Knob to buy from Knob Creek im guessing ;) ;)

  • Israeli tracers, huh? - i think exscessive chember pressures are result of this ammo being "submachinegun" loads.

  • I had the same issue with this ammunition. I also aquired it at Knob Creek in the fall of 2010.

    True garbage.

  • @CancermanNIGHTMARE

Knob Creek got it's name because that's where all the school kids would go to polish their boyfriends knobs.

  • You can officially call this video a "win" for me. Thanks man!

  • This thing quits after "anyway"

  • can i have those empty cases cause i need some for my project

  • @ll810l how did he lmao go to his teariest bullet seller on the corner do they have thos?

  • @ll810l You got that there was no problem with the ammunition, but the gun was not built for this kind of ammo?

  • @ll810l Bigotry with 11 likes? That's ridiculous.

  • @ll810l are you stupid? they are on our side?

  • @ll810l yes they are a terrorist state don't let these ignorant shmucks get to you

  • @kingboss9000

    Racist Bigot Jew Hater.

  • @4Firearms No I love Jews, I just don't like the Israeli government. Also the Israeli government killed 34 American sailors and sunk the USS Liberty in order to blame it on Egypt to get us involved in the 6 day war. Fuck Israel.

  • @kingboss9000 And they paid almost 100 million because of the mistake. Israel wouldn't try to sink an allys ship intentionally. What about when the US shot down an Iranian commercial airliner carrying families. It killed 290, everyone can fuck up.

  • @NigelGriff "Israel wouldn't try to sink the ship intentionally" pffft they knew it was an American vessel. And yet we treat Israel like they're the perfect nation that get billions in US tax payers dollars so they can lobby American politicians to unconditionally support Israel. They don't need aid, they aren't a "developing" nation. And they can handle Iran on there own, they have hundreds of nukes yet nobody knows the real number because they don't allow anyone to inspect them.

  • @kingboss9000 What possible reason could they have for attacking a US ship and then immediately telling the US it was a case of mistaken identity, before a military response could have even happened. You should read up on the details of the incident, many more people that are much smarter than you investigated it thoroughly wiki/USS_Liberty_incident.

  • @kingboss9000 The funny part is, though, is that you probably label someone that says "Fuck Afghanistan" as a person who hates Muslims.

  • @mercturd85 That's assumptious don't you think?

  • @kingboss9000

I fail to remember the US fighting in the 6 days war, guess my history lessons were incomplete. What divisions deployed to fight the Arab world in the 6 days war? I mean hell by the time the US had time to mobilize the war awl almost over!

  • @ViCe1986 It the end it was ultimately unecesary.

  • @kingboss9000 Fuck Israel and their settlers!

  • @kingboss9000 that's what they want you to think but it was the CIA.........

  • @ll810l Isreal actually invents most of our modern weapons such as the popular desert eagle and they are on our side

  • @surferskate1

your a product of Psy Ops/Propaganda/Psychological warfare.

  • @surferskate1 Popular Desert Eagle? Yeah, with who? CoD Nerds?

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR your right and thats who is watching this so i did put that and i love cod but can tell u anything of guns history before 1985 i like ww2 and vietnam weapons.

  • @surferskate1 You seriously think the Desert Eagle is popular? With who? Answer that.

  • @ll810l So don't buy U.S. made ammo then. They're the biggest terrorists in the world.

  • @sk8tafrnk Ha, so true.

Israeli make some of the best weapons in the world, and the IDF chicks are hot.

  • @M1911A1 Wow. You're not kidding. Haha.

  • Israel's workmanship shining through yet again!

  • doesnt look too bad for 32 year old ammo

  • Thank you so much for making this video.

  • These gun show baggie tracers are garbage! I bought some .223 tracers from a gun show here in MI and a lot of them didn't fire!

  • Dont buy from Israel.

  • dude you got ripped off

  • Israel shit ammo

  • @ll810l HURRRR DURRR

  • @ll810l you are so stupid

  • @1337Leva

    kiss ass u jew

  • buy american next time.

  • @187SicknesS

    HERP DERP DERP

  • stupid expensive , and old proven garb

  • You seem to know what you are doing, this is the only video I have seen from you. I saw after a misfire you showed the camera that the firearm was pointing down range, but for the safety of you and other that may be around, please keep a tight grip even after a misfire. You never know if it could go off, and it could flip out of your hand and possibly end badly.

  • There is a reason that CCI military primers are different than standard.

Prevents those slamfires that put a hole in the concrete patio like happened to someone I know when they let the bolt slam forward on their SKS with reloads and a soft primer.

  • I have had .22 lr rounds that misfired in a single shot gun. It's very scary to deal with. thats why it is best to use quality ammo, since I was using shotshell ammo that looks more like blanks than the better CCI shotshells and cost $6 a box of 100. Never again.

  • I guess some one in the gun show try to make fast money and sell old ammo, could be he marked the top with red ink, who sell ammo in plastic bag?

  • @ 4:19 pause and look at the firing pin marks

  • Being they were possibly made for the Uzi, are they perhaps +P or even +P+ maybe?

  • @mort6913 I'm no firearms expert, but when he said sub-gun, I did think UZI, especially with the mfr being IMI and the date made, (IMI, now Desert Eagle?)...and why would you use a tracer in a slow firing weapon (ACP) anyway?

  • i love 9 mm ammo but this certainly wont be a round i buy ever. no matter if you pull and reload the bullets in better brass, powder or primer i am sure the bullet will still fire hot and dirty to boot. keep in mind that the material that produces the 'tracing' add's the majority of the weight to the bullet and burns off mostly thereby decreasing the weight dramatically causing the round to fly faster/hotter. also notice how the exposed section of the bullet is longer than most all 9mm rounds.

  • I like the fact that the video shows how much POWDER is expelled when weapon is fired...

I give it a thumbs up!

  • Help a beginner....with a misfire....why did he let the ammo "rest"? Thanks.

  • @AncientItalianSecret To make sure the bullet wouldn't go off in his hand/out of the gun.

  • @AncientItalianSecret on a misfire keep the gun point in a safe way down range for 1min incase the shell goes live.

  • Would the tracers have burned brighter with more FPS from a slightly longer barrel (eg, Uzi vs. Glock)?

  • Know what ammunition that you are putting into your firearm and what the limtations of that firearm are.NEVER load hotter than what it can safely handle.

  • @doughesson Most modern pistols can handle a few rounds of +P+ without any problems.

  • They probably used harder small rifle primers. Could explain why they are a little hot also.

On a side note, Glock offers a red, stronger striker spring for use with hard primed SMG ammo. Would help primer strikes in dirty or icy conditions also.

  • No, your wrong it's the corroded ammo. Why would you put corroded ammo in your pistol in the first place? Dumb ass. The guy selling them needs to be bitched slapped.
