  • @ultimatesimpsonsfan yes she said thank you, i come from germany and have the german version of this game and she said i love you an i was a little confused becouse i read Danke (thank you)

sry i hope my english is not to bad :D

  • @Sveneta hey, did you hear they're gonna remaster this game in hd for the ps3 ? :D

  • the best ending in final fantasy

  • i'm usualy a sub fan which insults his friend when they listen to death note if it's in dub ( lol really hapened hehe ) but i don't know... i prefer the voices so much in dub for ffx for tidus yuna rikku and kimarri ( i didn't hear the other voices much in this video hehe )

  • I lolled at Kimahri's voice

  • Yeah...she said Arigatou...XD

  • best game...... pretty sure i cried at the end tho :( lucky i can just go back to the kiss scene and watch it cos i saved it to another slot :P

    ffx FTW!

  • what she said when she stood up? "arigato"?

I thought she said "I love you" =S

  • @Ecyre255c

Arigatou is a sincere form of "thankyou". Personally I think this was a much better than the English version and the decision to state the fuckin' obvious by saying " I LOVE YOU".

  • @bibblebob

"Thank you" and "I love you" are two very different things. I think "I love you" fits better (than simply thank him for all) with de scene because she loves him and doesn't want him to leave

  • @Ecyre255c

The fact that she loves him was implied throughout. The whole point of the ending was not to reaffirm the Hollywood cliché of "everything works out in the end, and they go and have a happy life together". She didn't need to tell him because he was well aware of that.

  • @Ecyre255c english dubs arent always right when they sub for japense

  • Best - game - ever.

  • La fin la plus émouvante du monde du jeu vidéo...

  • very sad and beautiful game, one of the best, storyline was epic, still gives me the goosebumps every time i see the ending again.

  • i love the ending of this game

  • fail

  • its the beautiest and saddest ending in all games which I played.I can still cry

  • so beautiful !!!!! love final fantasy X!!!!!!!!!! only did you know that in the japanese version yuna doesn´t say i love you she say thank you.. BUT STILL GREAT AS EVER!!!!

  • very beatyful song!!!!i want to give a great thank the one that made this story and this video.so touching,so real.i dont know japanese but i remember their words.

  • Most touching FF ending!!!

    made me cry. T-T

  • ToT

  • Man this one has the best love story ^^

  • tidus ownz so does lulu and auron

  • cliche or not, it just shakes you up when its all over and you still say it. I watched the english one and liked it better lol...

  • sooooooooooooo fricken chicken sad....:'(

  • Where did u download this??? pliz:)

  • Wow, I've never heard the japanese version before :)

Oh, I have so many fond memories of this game...

  • in the american ers. yuna says i love you, but in this one she says arigato, which means thank you, right?

  • yeah it does. wtf is up with that lol

  • So unfortunate too - "Thank you" is far more appropriate.

'I love you' is too cliche, and come on, it was way cooler for her to thank him for helping her and showing her a different side of life than falling in love and stuff, among other things.

  • i like tidus' voice in japanese WAY better than the english one

  • @Jenlor And that sexy voice belongs to Masakazu Morita, seiyu of Kurosaki Ichigo in Bleach :)

  • I like it better in japanese, so thanks for uplaoding.

  • i seen ffX and ffx-2

    And great it is!

  • Estoy triste. :'(

  • this is by far the saddest ff series yet, i've never managed to finish the game myself as always but im not even halfway done through so many years and i cry on how sad it is. wahh

  • when you past the game do you save and restart all over with the same power u have or u just completely start all over with no power u had before????? Is it true that the gamehas 3 diff. ending if so please tell me!!!

  • It is X-2 that has different endings.

  • when you past the game do you save and restart all over with the same power u have or u just completely start all over with no power u had before?????

  • i still cant believe how mind blowing this ending is.... after seeing it countless times ( both on youtube and completing the game) i just dont understand how good they made the ending.

    FFX FTW!

  • OMG was he crying when Yuna fell to the ground???

    That was sooooo sad *sniff*

  • I'm japanese,i like Yuna's japanese line better.

I think that "I love you" is a little strange.

Japanese language "arigatoh(thank you)" and "gomennasai(sorry)" have various connotation.

yuuna's "arigatou" isn't equal "thank you".

"arigatou" has yuuna's many many feelings, but japanese language isn't clear them, make Tidus(you) guess.

  • Does "arigatoh" means "love" in anyway?? (emm just curious) :D

  • Arigato means "thank you" in Japanese.

  • yeah, i guess that does make sense!!! I still like the japanese ending better than the american version;D

  • i love the ending but i like Yuna's english line better, I love you is far better than thank you. anyway thnx for uploading!

  • yes, yuna did say "Thank You" but, its a little more disappointing than "I love you". Though this comes from someone who's never played either!!! ;)P Overall, the japanese version is much better but, this, again, comes from the non-player...!

  • Gets me every time.

I cried for hours the first time, and this ending still has me weeping every time I see it.

They changed the line for the english though...wow.

This changes the ending quite a bit.

  • As always, japanese VA is the BEST!

The fact that Wakka didn't keep making those 'ooh' sound makes me happy. =P

  • actually I'm really glad you did upload the Japanese version! I don't understand much of it, but I love the voices so much more. Can you tell me where you downloaded it from? I would really appreciate that!

    Anyway, thanks for uploading!

  • Um...it's been so long since I had this video, but if I had to make a wild guess, I think I got it at filefront.

  • Maybe she said thank u because without tidus maybe she wouldnt be alive still and she loves and thanks him... i just love this i wish it was a movie tht never ended... Omg im gonna cry...

  • awesome.i like jap version a lot better than eng dub. jap VA always done great job.this version definitely lift up da atmosphere...<cry>

  • I've always hated how American companies don't include the jap dubs. Except Nippon Ichi w/ Disgaea, that was fantastic. Tidus's voice certainly matches up better.

  • The lip syncing was terrible as it was. Arigatou is four syllables while thank you is two. The I love you was a cheese-line that they had to use as a compromise since it matched up better.

  • Yuna said "thank you" instead of " i love you" but in that situation "thank you" in japanese includes the meaning of "i love you". she realized that Tidus will be gone so she was thanking for loving her and taking care of her. Therefore she said "thank you" in Japanese version. when this was translated into English they used "i love you". it is not mistake but it is difficulties of translating languages one to the other.

  • there IS a way to say I love you in Japanese - "Aishiteru". "I love you" is used much more in the west because of culture differences. Doesn't mean the Japanese don't love, they have their own way of expressing it other than " I love you". Baring Japanese culture in mind, and especially in the context of this game, and even more for me because Im Japanese, the I love you thing makes no sense to ME.

  • so... is she loves him? that was sad for me and him too

  • In the japanese version, why does Yuna say "thank you" instead of "i love you"..... makes no sense to me... lol

  • There's no way to say "I love you" in japanese... isn't that sad?

  • Aishiteru dude....

  • there is that but in japanese, it's not usual for ppl to say "i love you". kids never say "I love you " to their parents.. meh it's hard to explain. instead when they're dating they say "suki" alot. that's the equivalent for "like" though.

Japanese is more of a action/interpretation language than a straightforward word. So when aperson said there's no way to say "I love you", he/she was right.

  • your intelligent is so low . . . isn't that sad?

  • well i thought this video was awsome i may sound weird but i love stuff in japanese it's so fun to hear but i thought it was cool of you to download a japanes version it's awsome!

  • I'm also grateful that you've uploaded the japanese version. And me too i was shocked when Yuna said Arigatou instead of I love You.

  • I saw it just to verify something and now I know in the original version yuna doesn't say "I love you" but "arigatou" (thank you).

Thanks for clearing the doubt for me ^^

  • dude, this game has a sad ending, i've beaten it before and i just baout cried T.T

  • Oh hell! (not meant to offend you in this) This has already been done. People always repeat videos these days. o.o coughfinalfantasyspiritswithinthrillervideocough o.o
