As for easier vs. harder in new games.

I have done both, and I must agree with those who say he is harder in the old ones. He doesn't have anything flashy, but he blacks attacks far more often.

Also forgot to mention, another thing that makes the older one harder, is that the powers you get often time only have 1 attack (like the newer ones have about 4-6). In the case of sword, it only has slash and the jump spin, no stab down, rapid attack, or others.

Meta Knight's EASIER in the new games. He hardly blocks attacks and is more sluggish when reacting to you. His specials may be cool, but they leave him more open then his down-stab. Add in Kirby getting more options with the sword and you get a boss who's just not as hard.

imo the original kirby was white, so it would make sense for his opposite to be black. This isn't the first kirby game, it's the second. The first one came out on the game boy and in that one he was white. I never thought of any of this before, thanks for provoking that thought.

Actually, in the first Kirby game, their was an argument over what color Kirby should be. Sakurai (Kirby's creator) wanted pink while Miyamoto (Mario/Zelda's creator) wanted yellow. Nintendo USA didn't hear the decision (pink) in time, so they didn't color Kirby at all on the box art. He's always been intended to be pink.
