The difference with religious people nowadays is that most realize that you cannot impose your beliefs on others, no matter your religious instructions. RESPECT for others is the key word here. I have to admit, the Quran is sorely lacking in this regard.

This is full of factual errors!! Muhammad was never mentioned in the Torah or the Injil. The idea that the refernces to Muhammad were removed from the Bible is nothing more than an argument from silence. Where is the textual evidence-when did this removal occur? We have manuscripts of the Old & New testaments that pre-dates Muhammad by hundreds of years

ummmmm, hundreds of copies of the bible exist, and existed before the Quran. Why not compare all those bibles with the Quran and see who changed what? The Quran even has the timelines of some people mixed up. As to the Christian bible, it has been produced by witnesses to the event. The Quran's only "witness" is Muhammad.

The Holy Quran is the last revelation sent to man, and so it cannot be changed In the council of Nicea 100AD Constantine wanted to put togather an official Bible because there hadnt been one yet, just letters. The priests argued about which letters to put in and which ones to leave out. They even argued over whether Jesus (Peace be upon him) was just a prophet or divine.

I cant tell you why God allowed the message to be altered, but unfortunately it was, leading many people astray.

It was written during the Prophets life, and memorized by many people as the chapters wer revealed. I'm not trying to fight with anyone, I respect the Bible and Torah. There is a Jewish tradition (I forgot what it's called) but the point is for the Rabbis to make up events to fill in the blanks if any of the stories (in the Torah)have missing parts....How can the Bible be considered 100% Gods word when Jesus wasnt around to make sure all it was in fact Gods word without mans additions?

So WHY does the Quran say that god's word cannot be altered and muslims use this as their reasoning for the Quran not having been altered but, you and other muslims say that the bible has been altered. I am also not wanting to fight and it's just "for arguments' sake"  because, to me, it's totally meaningless to harp on words but it seems to be very important to muslims, so I am playing along.

I would say that Muhammad didn't remember WHAT he had told people so the easiest thing to do is say the Christians and Jews changed THEIR book.

Muslims think they are the apple of god's eye and whatever they claim is right. In the same vein, muslims claim that everyone is a muslim (I vehemently object) and that anyone who converts to Islam, therefore (reverts). And very few of them ever question these teachings because Muhammad/Allah threatens them with punishment if they do. Preeetty gullible if you ask me.

The Muslims accept both Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) as Messengers from God.
