  • donkey donkey donkey

    arrgrrrrhhhhh

  • @Sonnetalex & @hand2gland

Thats what the bloke on the pavement in Radiohead's Just video says

"If you listen careful to Legacy by Mansun he says 'Donkey' not 'Don't care'...."

  • Mansun are without a doubt one of the most underestimated bands of the 90s, along with Vast, such a shame neither of them got the recognition they truely deserved.

  • Great tune from a very patchy album. Nowhere near as good as Ok Computer. Negative and Legacy are great songs but Mansun to me never had a solid identity and I can only disappoint you was, frankly, disappointing

  • Nobody cares when you're gone...? Six is my fave 90s album

I'm not sure about the Team America puppets but we get the message pretty well. Mansun are still demi-gods.

  • awesome!

  • I agree with crieswhicharewings, Six is one of the best albums of the 90's and doesn't get the respect it deserves it get's along with the Manic's 'Holy Bible' in my opinion.

  • @steveandroid

My god "Holy Bible" was the sound track of my life around 18-19, loved it. In fact the manics in general where my fav band. Eye liner was the way forward back in the late 90's :)

  • Amazing video - one of my faves

  • Puta que banda boa do caramba.

  • Great song!

  • Its so annoying, instead of "dont care" i hear "donkey"

  • @hand2gland youve ruined it for everyone!!

  • I've always heard this song before, but I never knew who it was. Good song, funny video! 5 stars.

  • i will always <3 love MaNsUn !!!!!!!

  • What a great song from an absolutely brilliant album.Six is a must buy!! Such a shame when they split when they had so much more to offer. Attack of the Grey Lantern and Six are great legacies though, not to mention the other albums

  • Great song!

  • I´ve tattooed the phrase "nobody cares when you´re gone" on my ribs! Love mansun and this song

  • First time I've heard this song (I only own "Attack of the Grey Lantern" & "Little Kix"... ) but I love it! I need to work on owning their entire back-catalogue... Brilliant band.

  • waaaaaaaat???

leave your house now and don't come home until you own a copy of Six.

When you do come home with said copy of Six, put it on repeat for the remainder of your whole day and don't leave the house.

You'll know why after you've done it.

Six - simply the best album by anyone ever, period.

  • It's not that easy to leave my house, but I'll bear it in mind... :-)

  • brill album from a brill band . them + the manics are my favs 4 ever

  • great vid, great song, great band, recently getting back into them and wondering why i haven't listended to them for so long

  • This reminds me of being 17 and riding my bike around a crematorium next to a motorway.

  • walking the banks of the Trent at 19 after being dumped

  • A perfectly miserable accompaniment to Mansun. Can anybody beat that? Maybe somebody saw their gran die whilst listening to this song?

  • fuck me im gutted i forgot how good this song is any news on them gettin back together?

  • All relationships are emptying and temporary

  • i loved and indeed still love this band so very underrated

  • "Nobody cares when you´re gone"

  • One of my favourite lines, not for it`s meaning but it` s honesty and for making people realise that nobody does actually gives a shit once all is said and done.

  • shit clip, good song

  • Great song and great album!

  • absolutely addicted to this song...can't stop...can't stop.!!

  • loved the whole album

  • Listen to the album "SIX"

  • mansun are priceless!there music is amazing

  • q miedo esos hpts muñecos

  • mansun are great, Six is a terribly underrated album

  • Huh, it seems "The Club" is in Seattle. Cool.

  • ive always loved this track especially the line at the end "nobody cares when your gone" its so true for many bands out there

  • wow i just really started to listen to this band. Why didn't i found out about them earlier.Wow these guys rock!!!

  • a sea of faces just like me................

  • 10000000 stars !!

  • wow, didnt know they still have so much fans

  • I agree, mansun were amazing

  • all relationships are emptying and temporary...mansun were such an underrated band..paul drapers voice was just amazing

  • life is wearing me thin... and thiner...

  • amazing tune. so melancholy yet such a great tune to sing along to

  • One of the most under rated tracks ever.

  • is little kix any good?

  • mansun had 3 great songs, legacy ,wide open space and i can only disappoint you, other than that i think they were pretty mediocre.

  • this song is sad

  • why?

  • because the song s about makeing it big isnt it?then your not popular no wants to know you

  • nobody cares when you're gone

  • ah 1998. What a year, I went on a round the world trip. Six by Mansun is an AMAZING album, in my all-time top 10. I never tire of listening to it. AOTGL was ok, had some great singles, but SIX was just a complete body of work, easily better then OK Computer in my opinion. Shame they couldn't keep it up...

  • I saw these guys way back near the end of there career at the wulfrun hall Wolverhampton.2000 ish?

I stood underneath paul. That guy can sing.I was mesmerized for the whole two hours. It sounded album perfect. "nobody cares when your gone"

  • I love that all the Mansun fans here are still clearly so into the band, as much as ever, despite the fact that they've been pretty much written out of history by the mainstream and the media. keep the faith guys.

  • legends!

  • I like this song, the band sounds cool...but Oasis is Oasis

  • didnt mike mills direct this video?

  • this is as amthemic as anything oasis ever done.dont like his voice thow.

  • oasis?! gimme a break dude.

  • just my opinion mate .like i say i hate his voice but imagine if liam sung this song in 1994,when he didnt sound like a lennon impersonator . no, this isnt as good as slide away/listen up/or most of def maybe, champagne supernova etc but its better 75% of oasis new album and a lot of oasis older stuff aswell. ru one of those "loyal" oasis nuts who thinks the new album is great. bar a few moments of genius, the album is shit mate liams a shit live singer has been 4 years.thinks turnin ups enuf!

  • basically i stopped listening to Oasis when i discovered Mansun, hahahahha! cheers mate.

  • ah right got the wrong end of the stick mate.the amount of replies from oasis fans tellin me i know nothing coz i think all of oasis albums bar def maybe are 50/60% shit and the latest only has 3/4 pretty good songs. if oasis came back with a single like legacy people would be goin crazy. the guitar intro sounds like oasis bside "alive" .mansun very underated band ,never realised they had so many deep tunes.

  • i do partly agree futrestarofengland oasis's new album is shit! but i'd have to say what's the story morning glory was a classic album full of great songs and standing on the shoulders of giants wasn't bad. i think they have got worse and worse over the last 4-5 years.

  • Oh how i used to play this song over and over...great tune, great band, deep lyrics.

  • great album and song!

  • this song is my drinking song.

I like to drink and listen to it for some reason.

  • 1998...:(

  • amen to 1998. it was the best year of my life.

  • @laurenisalltherage Im certainly with you there.

  • reply xvaughanx: haha yeah aint that cus there were like 8 songs on it (:

  • this song helped me much when i was paralized in hospital almost 5 years ago...

  • why would you listen to depressing music when you're in hospital?

  • For some reason MTV Europe only played this video in the middle of the night (Alternative nation).

  • did you know that the legacy e.p. was the last e.p. to be counted as a single?

  • Six: Best fucking album in the World!

So god damn genious, that nothing compares....

So beautiful album, that it almost makes you cry.....

And this song "Legacy"......just close your eyes and feel the message.....

  • One of my favourite songs, takes me back 10 years to better times *sobs*

  • I love this band. :)

  • I remember the first time I heard it. At a friends house, an imported EP, just 14 years old and the single was brand new. I loved it too bits then, but it faded from memory (how it could, I'll never know). Now, almost 10 years later, it's still one of the greatest songs ever written in my book. I'll never let it fade again, Paul.

  • love it..just love it..simple and sweet

  • Simply Mansun :)

  • just give them there stuff back stove king!!!!

  • the LP `six` was a masterpiece!!

  • 'Best... video... EVER.'

    -Comicbookstoreguy

  • i just go goose pimply every time i hear this song. I played it over and over one night. Lost track of the time ..... was three 3 hours solid!!!! Never get bored of this and other mansun songs. Homage to the guys x

  • Nobody cares when your gone

  • wonderful, great, not like anything else, dreamy and beautiful

  • Spot on description

  • This whole album is great. An underrated masterpiece.

  • No Nothing about this band, but an Excellent Vid & song.........

  • ...what a song...what a song guys...

how many times i think to a song like this...

  • Six is such an underrated album. One of my alltime favorites.

  • Great band...miss them

  • one of my fav. vids...

  • art that changed my life...

  • Yeah Six is one of the best albums of all time. It has a sort of middle-age feel. It is really long and experimental but easily accesible. Every song has so much melodic changes and experiment. It's too bad this album was so overlloked. It deserved as much attention as let's say Ok Computer. I guess lyrics like 'I look downards, feeling negative. Anti-everything and I'm emotionally raped by Jesus didn't help much either ahah.

  • Funny, Pink Floyd didnt have trouble pulling in the millions with lyrics like those....

  • I guess those were different times...

  • What a riff...

  • What a great album. Wish there was a live vid for Cancer on here.

  • Mansun fuck me ...amazing.....everything about them is so real...we need em back pronto!!!..

  • great band great vid shame they appeared on top ot the pops 2 weeks later, or was it an inside joke? Shotgun!!!!!!

  • This should have been the final song of "Six". Pretty damn special. Never knew there was a video so chuffed to bits to find it!

Paul has the second greatest voice on the planet (only supassed by Neil Hannon, but that's just my opinion). His range is superb, every word and note he sings is so crisp and clean and clear and just so f*cking brilliant!

Oh please to god come back lads!

  • Such a great band !!!!!!!

  • I love this song and the 'six'album i re-bought mine the other day in oxford street and the manager of the shop was like''ah!another mansun fan, this albums amazing!''

Television has to be the best song on the album though.

  • one of my favourite songs ever

  • This track is great and the video excellent and original. Its a good example of how so many good bands end up so quickly. Shame realy and its true nobody cares when your gone. however my Mansun CD has been played several times since 1996.

  • Same here!! :D :D :D, got all the albums plus the best-of with the DVD, and "Kelptomania" and none of their tracks date, while still sounding fresh today!!.

  • sorry but i care:)

  • I saw Mansun at Reading 99 and I still talk about it till this day! Honestly, Paul Draper's voice is probably the best I've ever heard and Chad's guitar playing was so perfect and effortless I was stunned! I ended up afterwards sitting in my tent wondering what the f**k just happened! These guys will always be amazing.

  • Paul Draper Rocks

  • I think this is the best music video i have ever seen!

  • love this song growing up

  • Melancholic scathing masterpeice, a band that

didn't want or need to compromise. Shame there

was no room for them in the lull of the X-FACTOR generation. Should have been playing stadiums by

    now.

  • This whole album is great. An underrated masterpiece. But i think the video's a bit silly.

  • Quite possibly the best song ever written.

  • Yes, quite possibly!

  • mansun, the most underrated band of all time

  • Bring back Mansun, superb

  • I loved this video when it came out and its still one of my favourite songs. 'ALL RELATIONSHIPS ARE EMPTY AND TEMPORARY' (so true)

  • One of my most favourite songs of all time.

  • Love the band! And this song is just awesome!

  • mansun are the biggest thing to come out of chesire. FACT. they also rule

  • i mean chester

  • Classic video, and very poignant. Great to see it again

  • Love it! Thank you!

  • #Nobody cares when you're gone#

I love Mansu and this is a class song

  • great song!

  • This track is brilliant.

  • Mansun were fantastic, and this song just proves it. Andy music video with a fight scene that realistic is a winner in my books.

  • Wow i forgot about this song. reminds me of being 16 and getting drunk with me mates and playing guitars at bbq's and stuff. a real nostalgic song!

  • This song is so good it makes me cry...

  • I forgot how good this video is!

  • I love this video, the 1st time I saw it, I didn't know the name of the band or the song. This is the 2nd time I've seen this video in about 8years, Thanx for posting it!

  • One of my all time favourite videos.

  • Tried to describe this video to friends but I always make it sound dull. At last I can finally let them see it. Thanks muchly!

  • This video is the best video there has ever been, is, and ever will be.

  • why bands like this disappears.....theyre awesome!!
