I am Gracie Barra too and the guy I train with at present is a Gordo BB.

I am someone who wont believe hearsay untill I see it with my own eyes, I have trained with Roger and he is real to me and I have seen what he dose with top guys in training, but the Rickson stuff is always someone who was told by someone, I have also heard things about the Rickson and Paulo Filho encounter to the contrary to what everyons says, and how Paulio took it easy with Rickson out of repsect, still it is hearsay.

Funny the comparisons between them. Roger fights just like Rickson did back in his day - always trying to finish his opponent and don't care about scoring advantages. The 2 have similar styles of JJ along with Kron.

I doubt Roger could tap Rickson with gi. I remember Renzo saying in an interview a few years ago that Rickson tapped Saulo 3 times in 5 minutes. Kind of doubt Xande could do the same and he's one of the best right now.

No doubt that Roger will be the next champion of the family.

The truth is Roger has fought in a tougher era against tougher guys.

Roger is bigger, maybe he isnt as technical as Rickson, but he is still very technical, Roger is stronger and has good flexibility, not the most explosive guy but you cant have it all... he would destroy Rickson now and back in the day.

They have weight divisions in all combat sports, for a good reason, A good big un will always beat a good little un:)

I´ve been into Jiu Jitsu since I was a child and have trained in both Gracie Barra and Gordo Jiu Jitsu, who in my opinion is the best Jiu Jitsu coach presently in Brazil and I heard from top people that to this day Rickson is an absolute BEAST, and has always been. The best ever, pure and simple. A few years back, all top Gracie Barra fighters, like Marcio Feitosa, Nino Schembri, Gordo and even Renzo went to train with Rickson when he was on Brazil and all were submited over and over again.

Rickson was on another level. If you have seen him rolling or in bjj matches, Rickson beats everyone in a style which is just sooo fluid, smooth yet agressive. I have never seen anything grapple like Rickson Gracie.

amen brother I am a blue belt under Rickson and I had the fortunate opportunity to attend a two day seminar in Tenn in March that was taught by Rickson himself. You should have seen how he was going 30 percent maybe and demolishing EVERY black belt there including professor Pedro Sauer who is outstanding in his own right, and Rickson is 49 years old. I tried to armlock him, hahaha i did not succeed but it was awesome. He's a really nice guy too, he sat there and signed EVERY autograph after.

Track is slick man, no worries here, I am not a huge fan of lyrics anyways, (one man's opinion) I have been writing instrumental music for about 10 yrs now and I damn sure like instrumental thousand times more than lyrical, of course it is all good regardless but with such a Fine art as BJJ, IMHO, I would rather be in a state of my own thoughts and focus, instead of being fed a pile of words that have no relation to the arts, of course unless the lyrics are about Jiujitsu.. PLZ keep 'em comming.
