Remeedee still looks good. I saw her almost knock a photographer off the stage while dancing (accidentally of course) at a show in London.
They were performing that track that sampled KRS-One 'Right up to your face and dis you!' I can't even remember the name of the track now, fuck I'm getting old...
This my homegirl who came to Harlesden and other' Moxen and Laurence' Presentation gigs to battle and generally ROCK DA HOUSE x x Big up to HERBIE MASTERMIND for intoducing us
I loved you girls back then and tbh I still do! Of all those "80s" rappers/bands you were far and above the best (and flipping gorgeous as well) Thanks girls, love ya both so much, you were part of my growing up and I will never forget you both, thanks, again and just hope your both doing ok, take care eh? xxxx
I had no idea this was a famous group, here in st. louis , mo. i found the c d fade to black in the $1 store listened to it and went back before they closed bought all copies and gave them to friends, in 1999 this was still a baaad c d. These sisters are great and they never have played cookie crew on any radio station in st. louis ,somebody somewhere tellm it ain't fair, gotta hear your other jams keep on working love you
people forget the she rockers and wee papas had a bigger tune than the cookie crew wee rule remember. but they are talking about hip house not hip hop
Born this way is still one of my fav old school albums ! Best of all the female rappers of that time , and that includes salt and pepper , wee papa girl rappers , Mc Lyte etc and the best thing of all is they are British !!
Saw them as backup to Bobby Brown at Wembley Arena back in 89 - f*ck me man - their dancers were awesome, and the Crew rocked it! Off to practise tmy running man....I got to keep on!
Maximum respect to the Cookie Crew. Saw them twice back in the day with MC Duke and Funky Dope Manoeuvres. Everyone rocked it - shame the promoters sucked. Still - got a heap of free Music of Life vinyl for my troubles.

@1lifestyle I dunno if stole is the correct description as this only happened after an exchange between myself and D-Nice.
As it says in the description this is based on his idea which has his blessing...
