I would not recommend batoning with a folding knife. However, the fixed blade version is good for such use.

@BoeMech not real hard battoning but through a 1 1 1/2 in branch maybe but thats if you have to i got my becker bk2 for real bushcraft

@enjoiorange For sure. I use the Metolius as a backup only. I recently purchased the BK2 and it is a great knife.

its those ridges on the spine of the blade...usually i prefer smaller angular jimping due to the improved grip but the design of this blade doesn't really need it because it sweeps up where the jimping ends, kinda like a thumb ramp i guess.

wow! i didn't even know this knife existed! it looks great, the blade shape is awesome but the jimping doesn't look very sharp/angular how much is it and its a liner lock right?

funny thing is my brother was holding it saying how its not sharp right as he cut his finger. its sharp trust me. anywas it was 40 bucks and its a lockback. just check out my new video review of this knife its better and you can see the knife better
