Merci pour le post. J'adore ce monsieur depuis les années 60 qel voix , merveilleux chanteur, quel croonner. toujours très heureux de l'entendre.toujour un énorme plaisir.
This is a beautiful rendition. Both Brook Benton and Jackie Wilson were so underrated. They had the best voices around. There will never be any others with this kind of talent in our life time.
This is one of the most under-rated singers of all time. I love his voice. What a great singer. There is no equal. I bought this record 40 years ago at a fire sale for 5 cents (45 record). What a deal, huh?
What makes me sad is that a voice like that is out there somewhere that may go undiscoverd. No one makes arrangements with an orchestra behind a voice anymore. An era gone that can only live on "Youtube" Thank God for that.
That's great man. Your music taste should never be locked in the now. And find you a turntable. Nothing sounds better than a needle following the lines on vinyl, at 331/3 or 45rpm.
This great man will go down in history as a true gift to the genre of music. Very few could sing a sing like this and bring strong men to tears...God bless you Brook for what you did for me.
Thank you ame746 for this one. I do believe this is my all-time fav song from the Great Brook Benton, and that is saying a lot considering that he has so very many smooth, one-of-a-kind vocals.
Simply one of the most romantically beautiful songs......It's really lovely. What a superb voice.....don't you think?.....smiles
