A felony is just a title of what someone considers the caliber of a crime. Many times, the charges are a joke and the repercussions are rediculous. And how many people can say they have never broken the law, especially considering the fact that many laws are rediculous and contradict one another? I myself have 2 peterson pipes. I would be interested in your thoughts on the p-lip stem vs. The normal design. Neither of my pipes are p-lipa and the thought of spending $100+ to try one is a little off putting. Other than that, anything pipe related I'm always interested in.

as for the felon thing, once you're out of prison, and you're not on parole, you've paid your debt to society. it's crazy that you should have your rights denied for the rest of your life. I was convicted of a felony theft for taking a friends car 16 years ago. It sucks, period. I've been passed over on career opportunities and will always be known as the guy with the felony. I bow hunt and fish, but I do miss rifle and shotgun hunting as I used to do when I was a kid. In the future I will seek out an expungement, but that is not guaranteed. I agree with everything you said, cut the malarky and don't get into trouble it will ruin your life!

I found a gov site (mighta only been a MD state site) that said I was allowed long guns but no handguns (didnt bookmark it tho DOH!).. but a quick google has many conflicting reports. A buddy has a felony assault conv. but (store bought) 2 shotguns w/ background check so I'm thinking its ok.

Get into brewing your own mead. It is relatively inexpensive and you can experiment a lot with it. Fruits, spices, etc. I have 6 gallons fermenting in my living room and I made it for 25 bucks. Chicks dig it too. It's a great hobby, a way to meet some pretty awesome people and share recipes. You can also barter with it if shit gets bad. The best part is YOU made it!

I understand the message, however, I need to make a point. I am not a felon and I will not become one if at all possible. Here is the problem, the law is so veg on what is and is not a felony let alone illegal. The average person in my estimation breaks the law at lest 8 times a month and doesn't even know it. Plus if I am not in prison I can and will use all me rites regardless of who dose or dose not recognize them.No apologies for it; that includes the rite to defend my self and others. : )
