They are showing off the clothes, not them. They walk with large spaces to cover more ground, looks more graceful, and clothes flow better

its a way to show off the clothes and making yourself look elegant or however the designer wishes the clothes to be portrayed. They tell you how they want their clothes to be 'shown off.' Basically the model's job is to make anything they put on you look fashionable and desirable. Often times its the model that 'sells the clothes' not the clothes themselves.

the minimum is usually 5'8'' or 9''. hopefully, you're not done growing yet. eating really healthy is a good way to the nutrients you need to grow as much as possible :) and wear heels, lol

as far as i know, you can't make yourself any taller than the maximum height your body type can achieve. but i've read that stretching and excercise can help you reach that maximum. getting plenty of sleep and eating well also helps. i don't know if your parents are tall, but if they are, it's pretty likely that you will be too :)

Well it depents on your age. But you can also just look at your parents. If thei are tall, you will be tall, but even that doesn't say anything. Meaning I saw some 'short' parents with tall childrens. Don't worry too mutch. But remember, keep your back straight (mutch more healthier) But don't worry too mutch

your mind has a great power of your body - just keep on envisioning yourself and feeling yourself to be the height you'd like to be each night before you fall asleep, except to grow to your desired height and you will be stimulating the chemicals in your body to grow your body and be the way you'd want it to be :)

to go on the catwalk you have to be between 5'9" and 6' something. They may take 5'8" if you can make yourself look taller ;)

This is my sister's account but whatever. My name's lauren. I recently got signed with Rock Modeling in Madison, Wisconsin, and here's what I know. For acting, short girls are ideal because most of the men are short. For modeling, 5'9" is pretty much the minimum, except maybe for some commercial/catalogue modeling. For runway, 5'9" is pretty much midget. Most runway girls are about 5'11" or taller. Ideal height for runway is actually about 6 feet. I'm 5'9" and hope i grow.

well actually the camera adds ten pounds Plus most designers make only sample sizes for their shows which range from a size 0 to a size 2. If you do not fit their design you can forget about walking their show. That is why many models are skinny the way they are, to get jobs and bookings.

honey there is a market for your height in modeling, maybe not couture but commercial modeling is a wide market. if u have what it takes u can look at agencies that specifically look for commercial models.
