  • you could just doe this for each vst it would take a bit longer but you wouldnt have to make a audio file

  • how can i do this on ableton

  • wouldn't this shit take 6 days to do for a whole song?

  • @videfooot well, no. But it is nowhere near as efficient as that dub glitch vst.

  • Does anyone know how to do this in Ableton?

  • Nice tutorial dude :D You should all watch his studio tutorial of the song it self ;)

  • Levels

  • how come my pitch nob isnt automating my wave file ?

  • @kopec2255 I have the same problem!

  • @kopec2255 Same...

  • @SnipinG1337 I have solved the problem but do not know how I'll describe how to do :P

  • @kopec2255 @BongzoornMusic @SnipinG1337 This is because the wav file isn't linked to a mixer track. If it isn't linked than it won't be affected. I have a tutorial on how to do this effect as well. Please feel free to have a look if you are having problems, and pm if you need further help ;D

  • Could you use Fl Gross Beat to do this?

  • @DustinDolby General consensus says you can, once I tried dub glitch i didnt even bother trying gross beat thought so i cant say 100%

  • Yo this video deserves so many more views, this shit is pretty professional not going to lie...

  • 05:09 HAHA "And it will sound like poop" xD made me laugh xD

  • Awesome stuff man. Good to see some talent from Vancouver :)

  • 05:09 and it will sound like "poop"

god i laughed actually at that random word ^^

  • never mind now it doesn , you have to put it to pro default..

  • @fopchinees bro i have the same problem my pitch doesnt have any effect and ive changed to pro default still the same problem :/

  • @OfficialDeepkick you have to reset your time , just rightclick on the knob and click reset , it fixed mine

  • pitch bend doesnt work for me? ive used it some times ago but now it doesnt do anything , pitchknob is moving but it doesnt has any effect?

  • UPDATE: I tried dblue glitch.... takes 10 seconds to make this effect lol. You can download the VST for free, simply use the "trackstop" effect. This tutorial explains how that works i suppose.

  • @DJTmanMusic doesnt work as well as what u did. Cant make it sound like what you did no matter what.

  • RESPECT (Y)

  • Hey! Can u upload the project file please?

  • ure the man ive been thinking of this effect forever cant believe i found it. i typed avicci effect and this cam out wow.

  • Or you could just download dblue glitch vst.

  • @ffiiliph sometimes it is nice to know how to make effects on your own, it can give you a deeper understanding of the production process, instead of relying on a vst to do all the work. I know I personally have definitely learned a lot this way :)

  • You sure love avicii :p Great tutorials! :-)

  • nuce tutorial. subscribed

  • gj!

whats the name of the synth?

  • This works but so long winded. Best plugin in to use is Effectrix by Sugar Bytes. Literally takes 5 seconds to create that pitched down effect.

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • Bromance is wrong dude...but nice work...=o)

  • @eXtense01 haha! I was waiting for someone to recognise it was off! :P messed up the pickup beat...

  • @DJTmanMusic it's the melody that is wrong....

  • thanks for this man, this really helped . i was a bit lost because i dont use the fx mixer the way you do. but i will try to figure this out.

its crazy how i have that song on a mix and you produced it.

    thanks again man

  • Use Fruity Slicer... :D Cut The Last Beat and pitch it :)

  • I found dblue tapestop vst, its the easiest & quickest, faster than glitch!

  • /watch?v=MkJq2Xe_g0Y

    ;)

  • really like the bromance drop bro

  • This is Boss

    bossflowdotcom

Will be posted at 7pm EST

  • Thanks mate! This is gonna help me with my new track :D

  • i'd reather use the dblue glitch vst for making the track stop effect. its way easier! but you amazing tutorial!

  • @MariosBody I'll have to try it! thnx man :)

  • @DJTmanMusic there is another way to do it, with effectrix and then use the vinyl effect in effectrix, effectrix is such a nice vst, you really like it i think. There are tuts about the use of effectrix, I hope it works for you. And I also love your tut man;)! Cheers!

  • @MariosBody agree man.

  • I also realised (when listening to the) original track again, the reason why the chorus sounds a bit off, I forgot to use this same effect on the bass etc. I havent tried it yet.. but i think that would help it sound even better!! try it out :)

  • I dont use fruity loops, i use Live so their may be a reason for it but instead of copying/pasting and fading out, couldnt you just bring the automation back up to normal after the effect?

  • @EspritDeMusique Absolutley, you can use this tactic in the example I have shown aswell, however, i copy and pasted the track into 3 sections so I could very slightly fade in the next "section" while the first section was being slowed/scratched/pitch bent. This allows you to create a very suttle reverb esk effect on the section that is being slowed. Applying this effect on the accuall track you are slowing is impossible, because the reverb effect would slow with the track speed :D

  • Awesome tutorials man! Keep it up!

  • nice, loving these tutorials, keep em up! :)
