@nokroblosho Yeah dude, it made the most sense seeing I was using my fingers and not a pick, and just to keep the chilled vibe but with more intensity. Kind of trying to make a full 'band' sound with just one guitar, use some dynamics.

That's exactly what I tried to do - I'm not the best guitarist, and also acoustic guitar sounds better when played a certain way, you can't always do heavy stuff on it so you gotta take the essence of a song and flip it over. Just like the Biff did with Umbrella and other tunes! I fucking love them so much. I sincerely hope they get to hear my covers sometime! Thanks very much for listening and appreciating.

@baahimasheep you tune the guitar DADGAD (low to high), and then it's all based around a kind of C-shape moving up and down the neck: I'm playing the E, A and G strings most of the way through. If you play along, you should be able to get it pretty easy. I let all the strings ring for the most part. Thanks for the compliments! Interestingly, these are the same kind of chords used in Many Of Horror, although the guitar is tuned down a whole step for that song.

@rageagainstthesheen hey man, thanks very much! If you send me your email address I'll try dig up the one I scanned in a while ago, someone else also wanted it. In the meantime, tune your guitar to DADGAD (low to high) and kind of use a rough full C shape up and down the neck to play along with me, it should be in tune and it's not that difficult. The hardest bit is getting the right hand consistent and making it sound 'chimey.' :)

@WillemWouterV Hey dude, I'm not sure if that's a chirp or a request! I'm actually a drummer, so songwriting is a new thing for me - hence I play a lot of covers. I'll be putting up some of my own songs soon, when I've finished recording them: I'm playing all the instruments, so it'll take a while! I am also working on some video performances of my drum parts for the band I play in, The Mariana Hollow, which will be up in January or so.

@hendo21k Thank you mate! :) Tune your guitar DADGAD. The low notes are similar to Everlong by Foo Fighters, the high ones vary. It's basically a full C shape moving up and down the neck. If you send your email, I could scan a little hand-drawn chord chart for you. Pretty easy though.

Hey, thank you very much for the kind words! Very flattering. It's quite high in the chorus (to sing), which was quite difficult. The picking pattern isn't that hard to sing over actually, although playing the original version might be trickier! Hence, I did my own take on it. :) Thanks again, very encouraging!

Hey! Thanks for the compliments.I fucken worship Biffy! Anyway, the guitar is tuned (from low to high) DADGAD. This makes a nice open, ringing sound under most chords. I just figured out the bass notes by playing along to the tune (which is in drop-D tuning), then made my own chords. Pay attention to where the highest note in each chord moves or wants to move to, this will help figure out your own patterns. :)
