I downloaded trapcode and I put the serial and I finished the install succsesful, but the trapcode shine or other plugins are still trial, apears that big red X

And when i make the video, with the trial trapcode, the video is just simple, just with the white kamehameha, without effects

I am on CS4 AF I can't figure it out how to mask set as shape, I can't find tools it call effects mask tools on my list some where. I can see you are use cs af 6.5 that a new to me. Wish me luck if I can damn effect mask tool in cs4 af grrr.

having a problem importing files with 6.5 using Vista

I run it in compatibility mode using windows 98 (would use xp but it stops responding and force-closes, same with the other except 98)

I also have changed the settings to OpenGL. I've tried the save to desktop and drag method, but was wondering if you ever had any problems with it. Feel free to send me a pm or comment back. Thanks

Hey, mine is "rectangular mask tool" instead of elliptic, and when I put it on, the whole clip scene goes black, not like with yours, where you put in the circle and in the background your clip is seen. you're the retard obviously. My tutorial is different than most of them. for one, I show how to create a kamehameha without shine and using glow later in the tutorial. I also use the Add blending mode instead of normal which looks WAY better. And I show how to use the shimmer effect with the kamehameha. and I don't use the dumb fractal noise. The only thing that's the same is the beginning part.

This tutorial is showing how to make a kamehameha THE RIGHT WAY.

oh, you have to make sure the anchor point is in the middle of the ball. Then it will scale right. :)

you have to set keyframes for the shimmer. you have to set 1 in the beginning, and and set another at the end with a higher number.

there reason why its crashed coz 6.5 isnt really compatible with vista so he had to change the compatibility in the properties shit but its not always on the ball so it crashes from time to time....he just need to upgrade the ram to 4 and it wont...

you don't. they rarely sell AE 6.5, you should look for CS3 or CS4. you can download the trial for free from adobe. com

that used to happen to me too. What you need to do is click add to render que. Then click on "lossless". That should lead you to the encoding settings. Choose the format and settings that you want, and turn audio on. THEN RENDER! :)
