I am going to see this man in April in Perth, can't wait. He has such a great love for his Country Scotland and its people - and it shows in his amazing songs. Lifts One to a Higher Plain. Great Post.

Dougie MacLean and his band are touring this year - Scotland, USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland etc.
Having just seen Dougie at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall I can say if you are lucky enough to see him you are in for an uplifting experience. He has so many great songs and Dougie and his band put on a captivating show - simply fantastic.

Just checked his website to see if he'll be playing anywhere near me in the U.S. and unfortunately his June & September tours are no place near me. I missed him a couple of years ago, too....he was playing only a couple of hours away from me and the tickets for that show were sold out almost immediately...maybe someday.
