The wheeled Motar is called "Leichtes Infantriegeschütz 18" and is Cal. 7,5 cm. This was the Standard Cannon given to the German Infantry and Panzergrenadier Battalions in the Wehrmacht.

The Movie has been made to educate the Soldiers in the "Ersatzheer", which was the Army in Training, from which Soldiers where send to the active Army in the Field, to fill up ranks of fallen or wounded.
