The bad thing about full-motion screen capture is the resources being used by Camtasia. The results for both models were about the same while not recording.
The models are not the same, so you can not compare performance.
Also, it would be good to know if you used the OpenGL on the Archicad 3d model, because it does not seem you did, and therefore performance is worse than usual.
