Most commenting here obviously don't understand the concept of speed pool. The object of the game is speed, not precision. You and opponents are playing against a stopwatch. It's not so easy to sink balls when you have only a second or two to decide which ball, line up, and shoot. In this case, it's better to occasionally miss than waste time carefully lining up shots. The added pressure of time can also really throw off your game.

@stewartx5 i know they aim for speed, but cummon we occasionally play against the clock speed pool on a regular table with 15 balls to pot, and an average/good club player can still clear in 1 min 20 happily by predicting shots and playing position 2/3 pots before the hard pots. best time in the UK last year to clear was around the 40 sec mark i believe.

Sorry i can't. The shots that he is trying to attempt are all the shots that hardly need any focus at all. Unless if he was trying to bank the cue off of 3 rails to hit a target ball, then yea..... I would give him some credit, but knowing the size of that table and knowing how close each balls are to close to each pocket? I killed an 8 ball game in under 1minute and 30 seconds, with about 6 of my opponent's ball still in play also with his balls in a somewhat defense position on my balls..
