the abandoned buildings in Detroit make me sad, reminds me of visiting family in ireland and we stayed in a town outside the family village where the houses were mainly deserted so they painted fake windows and doors onto the boards they had boarded the places up with. such a shame as well cos there are so many homeless people around that need places to live but there's not enough jobs in places like Detroit to fund it all!
