I've just watched this movie like three times, I love it! the thing with Yngve was indeed a little confusing, but I think that also in the movie, Yngve was scizophrenic or something ike that (based on that his little sister already knew about the mental hospital, and Jarle saying that he should have known etc, just little things), only there wasn't that much story to it.

i thought this movie was brilliant. Should've got a wider more mainstream release...wishful thinking! Can someone clarify what was wrong with Yngve? Mental health problem? Depression? The end was a little confusing...!

@andydermanis It's based on a book, and in the book Yngve was scitzofreniac. And he was in a good period but then he falled in love with Jarle and then he snapp'd.

So the kiss at the ending are in the book like 15 years later or something while Yngve still were in mental hospital.. there is a lot more story about Yngve in the book than in the movie.. But in the movie I think they just gave Yngve a depression or something...
