  • I don't think the girl in the back is doing it that wrong. It might be a tad fast, but she's working with really light weight anyways.

  • @dyrhenry The girl in the back is targeting her erector spinae and lower back, while putting her hamstrings/gluts in a stretch.

    It is just another form that targets a few more muscle groups. Perfectly fine with light weights.

  • the thing abt doing back exercise is, ur back needs to be in a good position, if not the back wont become big. as i rmb my gym buddy told me, it is "like selling your ass", haha, and it is true, that is how ur back position should be

  • I always love your videos, great info and lots of detailed info, and always with the safety tips awesum. I am horrible at remembering to keep my back arched while just sitting around I have bad posture but its important to remember while lifting to be aware of what your back is doing to avoid serious injuries.

  • Thank you so much! So many variations on this. I always only used plates here and there for raises. I have lower back issues and while I can still work that area this saves me the stress now I know not to go all the way as other so called experts on here say to.

  • @evilalec I didnt even notice there were other people in the background LOL, but after watching it twice I saw what you mean, she was moving really quick too, looked very bad for the back I wonder what she was doing.

  • Thanks Joe! I've been doing this, with what I thought was good form. For the most part it was, although I had been going to deep on the stretch. Also never though of the toes or heels on the plate. I'll be trying the toes on the plate version this Tuesday. Thanks again.
