The only thing you have other than Barry with the Lions in this game is Mel Gray, who can break many an ankle en route to a kickoff or punt return. If you can win the Super Bowl with the Lions in this game, you deserve a spot in the NFL Pro Football Hall Of Fame.

i have this game and when barry would get injured he would come back like a week later and seem like he would have a good game and then he gets injured again and i realized too he doesn't run faster in some games too

Theres actually a game editor for Tecmo Super Bowl. You can edit every players stats to 100. It makes the team like a bunch of robots. Just tottaly crush the computer.

Bo was also a stud in that game, he use to just bounced people off him! Barry wasn't fast? What the fuck are you talking about? What a fool! Barry was a sprinter, he ran a 4.1, that isn't fast? He just slowed down after 40 yards sometimes, but not always as he holds a record with 2 80+ (85,80) in the same game. As far as him bouncing outside, he had to, no holes available usually.

Barry wasn't all that fast. He could just change direction on a dime. Take a look at some of his videos. Everytime, he gets a breakaway run, safeties and linebackers usually catch up to him.

I think your wrong on that issue. Barry was quick, fast, and had agiliy like nobody else. The reason people caught him was because he was making moves all the time.

Yes, his ability to run one way, completey stop, and go the other way was his M.O. But also, you knew once he broke that first line, he...was...gone. In a sense I get what you're saying. After running 55 yards, a safety COULD catch him, usually like seven yards from the endzone. That's why he tended to not be a touchdown hero, because he would give them those 55 yards, then someone else (well sadly, often NOBODY) would take it into the zone.
