Prior to joining Malaysia, there was the Cobbold Comission to determine weather the people of Sabah wish to join the Malaysian Federation or not. The people of Sabah, who actually lives in Sabah (NOT THE PINOYS), are in favor of the idea of joining Malaysia.
As you can see here, some Pinoys here (some delusional as they are) think that they can get us Sabahans to join the Philippines.

Prior to joining Malaysia, there was the Cobbold Comission to determine weather the people of Sabah wish to join the Malaysian Federation or not. The people of Sabah, who actually lives in Sabah (NOT THE PINOYS), are in favor of the idea of joining Malaysia.

jenjoyjan The rental agreement happened more than 100 years ago on 1878 by Sultan of Sulu and the British company. The lease agreement prohibits transfer of Sabah to any nation, company or individual without the consent of the Sultan or his heirs. After WW II the British government declared Sabah their colony ignoring that lease agreement then relinquished Sabah to the Federation of Malaysia in 1963. Indonesia separated but Sabah remained as part of the Federation.
