I am concerned about the way you are going about losing weight. I am a person who now realizes that it is not what I am eating but what is eating me that I need to continue to look at. I know that all the dieting I did for years was what set me up to do my binge eating. I really see that for me freedom comes from addressing the unresolved issues that made me turn to food. I hope that you are able to get at the root of your food issues and to experience real freedom. Take care
i have told you once and i'll telly ou agian, dont do the water fast. do the lemonaid fast. the master cleanse. we stoped the first fast practicaly together, and im still keping my waight off. and i eat like a normal person. call me. 614 7834821
I think fasting can be used to safely break yourself from addictions. I did a 10 day "fast" drinking large quantities of freshly squeezed vegetable and some fruit juices (cucumber, broccoli, beet, carrot, celery, spinach, sweet potato, tomato, pineapple etc) because I was just bingeing on sugar and out of control and desperate to try anything. I haven't cared for sweets ever since. I'm really glad I did it. I would have tried ANYTHING to get the addiction under control.
I don't think you should do it again. A water fast is NOT the solution to your problem. As several people have stated, it is your relationship with food that is the problem. It's obvious to us. It might not be obvious to yourself. You should probably seek a doctor's advice on this. I wish you well. maria
You inspired me to go through with a water fast. I went from an unhealthy 180 to 145 thanks to you, but it was easy to gain it back. I really had to control myself when it came to food again. If you do this again, you might gain it back again and yo yoing is dangerous. You should find a solution to your food problems first.
Have you ever thought about seeking professional help for your binging? You should try to control your eating habits first instead of diving into a fast again. Number of reasons, nyou have lost and gain over 50 pounds within a span of a few months. Physically your body needs a rest. You haven't even lasted 3 days on a healthy eating plan. I'm not trying to dog you SushiCatny but you need help with this vicious addicition. Fasting is not the way to go. First fix your relationship with food.
hi, it was hard for me to enjoy anything too sweet after the fast but i really liked thinly sliced cucumbers or water-rich squash in lemon juice (sometimes added pepper), it was super refreshing. Ripe fruit is so good, i hope they find you. persimmons are amazing, if you ever come by them. peace
it takes a lot of will power to do a 30 day fast, and i think it's amazing that you did it, but if you think that you're not going to break it properly, i'll suggest you don't do it. I dont think you want to end up being in the same situtation you are in now, every time (of gaining the weight back)
Maybe a proper diet plan and exercise routine would be a better move. just my opinion, but if you want to fast again, go for it and good luck :)

read up on sodium and potassium balance and how it relates to the heart.
Potassium supplements are not a good way to maintain the required levels, as an irregular heart beat may result.
Your fast may cause purging of certain minerals.
DO NOT GO BELOW ABOUT 2000 ML. OF SALT A DAY!

You might want to wait until your health returns before you embark on another fast.

I agree with Jess4romfat2fab. Are you sure you want to fast? I also think that a proper diet plan and slow and steady is the best plan.
