I don't think that setting the overall quality of the audio in WinUAE will make much of a difference. It seems having played this both on my A600 and WinUAE, that it sounds the same in both formats. I think it is the way this piece of music is recorded. I don't think it's actually a mod file being played back, because once you start the actual game the sound quality changes immediately both in emulation and real play.

It's a straight recording of the output from WinUAE. If I can get around to it, I'll replace this with a recording from my actual A500+

In WinUAE, you can set 48000 Hz sound output and that music will kick our asses... ;-)
