Not a problem with me. I like the intro enough that I watch through it often when I play. It's so fun. Surprised you didn't get any desync while it played.
Good idea to put in a notice like that, though. Would also be useful if you're wandering around town, talking to townsfolk. Some people wouldn't want to watch that, either. (I don't mind, personally.)

Godlike game. this is 1 of the less games i never played that starred Mario. but seeing the LP's tell me this is a great game.
