visiocomb this was a man who had terrible personal tragedies but who still continued to smile and try to make people laugh. He was far from racist, he was old school and told jokes that people laughed at. Only people today wrapped in cotton wool find it offensive. Mike Reid was an exceptionally talented comic, actor and all-round entertainer who brightened up other peoples lives. He suffered some terrible personal tragedies in his life that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy but still he continued to make people laugh and smile. He made more people laugh and forget about their troubles for a while, than you will ever see with your eyes for the rest of your pityfull life.
