I'm Ava's father, and did not realize that this was on here. As we approach 4 years of her passing I want to say that I love her and miss her each day that goes by. We have a 2 year old son now, and I will teach him to carry on some traditions that I do to cherish her memory when I am gone.
I get really sad every time I hear of a little child that was only in this world for a short time. I don't have any children of my own so I don't know what it is like for a parent to lose their child but I'm sorry for your loss. She looked like a girl with full of energy and it seemed that she lit up a lot of lives from the time she was alive and will continue to touch lives.
those are ava's 3 cousins. the pic of them sitting down, was taken at sea world about 2 months before she died. i always am shocked looking at that photo, as by her full cheeks and smile, she looks like any other healthy little girl. cancer at that point, was in 80% of her bone marrow. but you never knew she had pain, she never complained. i miss her soo much.
to everyone who has made a comment, thank you. ava was my only daughter and i miss her more than i can even express. please know that this can happen to anyone. there was not one case of cancer in either my husbands family nor mine before ava. it can happen to anyone. life is short, choose well how you will live it. you only get one chance at life. ava made every day count till her last breath. she will forever be my hero and the reason i live.
Wow.....by brother said that he would give me $100 if i could watch this video without crying and he shook on it. I didn't know that the video would be somthing like this.
