En verdad, luego de la muerte de John Marston, perdí el deseo de seguir sacando tesoros y premios con Jack. Seguramente debería hacerlo para enterarme de esas cosas xD
@mamatripa te refieres a dickens, bien, en una de las ultimas misiones te lo encuentras arrestado por la policia, (por alguna tonteria que haya hecho, dickens es una pieza XD), marston le pide al que le acompaña (no puedo decir quien es spoiler), que lo suelte, y asi lo hace, si dices que le pasa cuando juegas con jack, lo siento pero no lo se
it's funny that a lot of people use this song in their tributes to john marston, but it sounds more like it was written for jack. He's the one who was looking down the sights of a deadman's gun, he was given a reason to fight, and luck sure as hell didn't save edgar ross when jack came for him.

I think song's meanings depends of each people: to me, the "dead man" represents friends and victims from John Marston (like Bill Williamson), "reason to fight", the desire to recover his family and obtain a new life and "Luck won't save them tonight", speak about what Edgar Ross did and the vengance that awaits him with his son Jack.
@newcanodin Now that i really sit down and think about it, i think it applies to both of them. Jack is a near mirror image of his father by the end of the game, not just in looks, but the way he behaves and the things he does. Point for point, you could make the argument that it was both john and jack, and that has made me love this song even more.
