i have one of those servers, and theres an option at 1:33 that has a drop box saying 'wireless connection 2' 'local connection' so apperently it doesnt work for windows 7 huh? way to be a dick

worked great. couldnt figure out how to find the dns because im on a hotel wireless. im not sure if you have to turn off the firewall, check those boxes, but you do have to click the second box under the advanced tab in the sharing area in your wireless settings. overall a good video though so thanks.

go to your router its ip by default should be 192.168.1.254 and set the routers firewall to low and that should fix it

lol! id say so but if you can get onto it via internet explorer or mozilla try putting the firewall down to low. i had an MTU and NAT problem at the start and lowering the firewll from MED to LOW solved it. the problem is the router not your pc

the firewall on your pc is either on/off but the firewall on the router is either Low/med/high by default its med you need to change it to low

if you can get to your network again and go on properties and where you checked the box for internet connection sharing click on the settings below and to the right of that, and check the boxes for the DNS thingy that might help i checked all the boxes on mine and i got my live going mint :D
