Yay, a device that actually knows what it is meant to do. its major purpose is MADE for music compared to the iTouch and iPhone while they have some perks is mearly a toy in my opinion. Why get something with millions of other useless applications (since a computer is better for that shit anyway) if your major wishes in a device is to listen to music, look at other media, and if in need check the internet. you don't need so many damn apps, itouch games are for 15 year old board students anyway.

If you can't see the benefits from having a device in your pocket that's connected to the internet 24-hours a day and one that allows you to upload videos and pics on the fly to facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.....then you're clearly the idiot!

And I've seen the OLED screen myself in direct sunlight, and it is completely faded and hard to see! You can't deny this, it's in every review of the device! I have an iPhone 3GS and NO, there are no major downfalls with the device. "The interface is shit"? Huh!?! It's not as sexy as the Zune's, but it works seamlessly! And of course you don't care about the App store since MS doesn't have one yet. HA! There are so many great games and useful apps in the store, this statement makes no sense!

And the OLED does wash out considerably in the light. I had my iphone beside my friends and the iphone's picture was much better in the sunlight!

HD movies only play in standard definition on the Zune itself, and only up to 720p on a HDTV (with the $90 accessory). Who needs this when you can buy an AppleTV and stream ALL of your music, movies, etc...in full HD directly from your computer for $149.00? Microsoft is getting better (by copying Apple once again), but they still don't quite fully get it!

I'm with you, not wanting to pay. I'll probably find a converter to process my movies so i can get that awesome 16:9 ratio perfect. But if it came down to having left over MS points from my Xbox, I'd probably buy a movie or something with it.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I have a Xbox 360 and the movies I download and play back via it are crap compared to my AppleTV/iTunes HD movies. Out of all three of my devices (PS3, AppleTV, Xbox), my AppleTV is the best quality for HD content. You guys can continue to make the Zune a relevant device.......I'll stick with my iPhone 3GS and use my Xbox for playing games...that is if it doesn't crash with the red ring of death!

are you for real... i have an apple TV and the content can barely count as HD. its 720 not even 1080. But more then that the bit rate is terrible, and that's being wired, over wifi forget it.. If you do really have all systems you should know then that currently PSN is the only one with really 1080p content with decent, not great, but decent bit rates.

all I know is that the HD movies and shows I rent and own look a lot better on my AppleTV than my PS3 or Xbox 360! They are all on the same WIFI network, so there isn't an excuse why one would look better than the other. I'll stick with Blu-Ray for my true HD movies, but as far as rentals and existing playback goes, the AppleTV works best for me. I'm sure different people have different results.

I just use the real player converter, just so long as you don't do h.264 encoding, it's free, and has a setting for zunes (yes, I know it's mp4, but it also converts it to the right small resolution so you don't have a giant mp4 to play on a teeny tiny zune screen, unless it's in HD, then you can just convert it to plain old mp4)

A bit too expensive in my opinion. You can use the old docks but you won't get HD. The new Zune HD dock comes with an HDMI cable, I think that's why they decided to up the price on it.
