Amazing, really shows how twisted some people are in this world, imagine how the interviewer would had felt after finding out the man he was talking to was the murderer...
Listen to the way the reporter says the last question, it's as if he knows Ian is guilty already, hence the way he just walks away as in disgust. Furthermore those 2 little girls dead bodies were in that red car as this interview was taking place.
Lying through his fucking teeth, but it does go to show that he acts like a normal person like you would expect the person to have done it to be really weird and twisted but he acts normal
The pain that Huntley caused the familys of Holly and Jessica,is too awfull to imagine. Those two beutifull girls were killed by this Demon, may Huntley have a long and throughly miserable exsistance, rotting in his stinking cell. The day will come, when he will have to answer to the Lord, who said, suffer the little children who come up to me.GOD BLESS YOU MY ANGELS,SLEEP TIGHT.
He stood there and gave this interview KNOWING where those girls were and what he had done to them. Instead, he let the parents of the girls go through hell wondering where their daughters were. This man is evil and callous and he should spend ALL his life rotting in prison.
I knew Jessica very well. My dad and her Dad both shared a business. Jessica and Holly went to my school at the time. If I ever was put within running range of Huntly...
@MrMogz2009 its great that fowkes and co gave/give him a hard time in jail...but still, i think its better that huntley didnt die and that theres no death penalty. it would be somehow of an relief for him if he would die...thats actually what he wants..keep in mind: that coward tried killing himself twice. and we dont want to give him what hes longing for, do we? its better he rots in cell and has a hard time thanks to his inmates, as child molesters/killers are hated most in jail.
I remember when he helped search for the girls no doubt to divert or disrupt the search in some way.He knew where they were all the time because he killed them. There are no words to decribe what i think of him. There is no heaven for people like him.I feel unclean having seen him in the video. He is a beast.
His name when it is heard now just represents evil in the same way as Myra Hindley and others. It really does make me feel nauseous watching this again. I have not seen this clip for years and to think he had already killed those little girls when this interview took place.
A different species of human being inhabits our planet, outwardly they appear like us, they look like us, talk like us but they seem without feeling, without compassion without what we would call a soul.
I'm not sure how true this actually is, but I have read/heard from a few people that the girls' bodies were actually still in his car at that point - that red car behind him, in fact.
As if this interview wasn't already absolutely dripping with bitter irony, that information (if it's actually true) sets it right over the edge.
@jonjones20143 this is the 1st i have seen this interview but i dont think he was i good liar!! changing the subject all the time hands behind back hesitant answers!! but maybe thats just because i know now hes guilty!!
@arabslavegirl Yeah it's weird. I saw Carr being interviewed and she was describing the girls said something like '...that was the kind of girls they were.' I pointed that out to my partner too at the time. This was just after they had vanished and I thought it was a faux pas and expected her to correct herself.
I have to say, I think the cops were on to them from the start.
For those that were too young, or are not aware, he only aroused suspician from the police, because of his constant interest in the media and police. He would listen to R.T messages then ask if there were any new devolopments, he would always be where a film crew were. He portrayed a text book characteristic, that led the police to want to look more closely at him, the end result is history.
The only clue here, are the arms tightly held behind his back, a defence posture when lying.
What ian done was very uncharacteristic of him, i know a lot of people want to kill him and deservedly so but i know him very well. We used to be golf buddies for 10 years before he had this moment of madness. He is actually a very kind hearted person and would never pass you in the street without saying hi. Just incase anyone cares, we write to each other every month and he is doing well. His xbox was broken there, he got angry and smashed it! Call of duty! ha but it was replaced within 2 days
@Pentdad He's not supposed to be having a good time in jail, it's prison ffs! A place where you think about your crimes and try and become a better human being! 40 years isn't enough time for someone to reflect on an act as evil as this! He should never be released to protect other innocent children who he may prey on should he be a free man!
False start "The girls...I dont know the girls" ; "....and off they walked in the direction of the erm..library over there" ; fluffing his 'lines' in the mental script he had made for himself
The reporter knew he was talking to the murderer. Huntley's body language was not that of someone shocked, surprised and saddened. He had massive bags under his eyes and carried on staring at the ground when the reporter walked off. It wouldn't surprise me if that was a set up interview by police to see how he would react and analyse it........... bastard.
@roglowe Yeah the police knew he was the murderer at this stage, the day after this interview he was arrested and so was Carr..he looked so bad with his black eyes! and he thought he was being so clever and had just got away with double murder, I am reading a book about him he was a sick pedo who should have never been near school kids
@stupidintellect90 Nah, he ain't cool at all ; he's acting very strange and saying very strange stuff ; no wonder the police soon snapped him up after this
I must be very bad at reading body language. He seems so convincing to me! He's not right in the head if he could face a news reporter and speak about them two wee children knowing what he done. Evil wouldn't cover it!
this scares me! you never really know who your mixing with nowadays, he was a child murderer and he look so cool and calm, living around everyone. those poor girls, i dont understand what would urge you to do that? sick man
I remember watching this interview on tv with my cousin. Afterwards I turned to her and said 'I think he did it!'. Don't know what it was, but something just didn't seem right about him. Bit scary to find out a few weeks later that he'd been arrested.
@Scoobydoo291 Yeah...as I was young then, I only remembered seeing them and Ian huntley on tv, but as part of school work I had to read a report about them so it's only now that I really know the facts and what they went through. Extremely tragic and you know what forget killing him, spending a lifetime in prison is worse... so let him live to 90.
@stupidintellect90 I agree with you on that, I am all for keep them alive but make prison punishment like 23 hours a day in a cell bread and water no t.v or x box's etc

This guy is beyond help. There is no medical practice on the planet that can treat him.
I defy therapists, psychologists etc to say he can be rehabillitated.
His slyness , lies and stance despite having killed them beggars belief

@allrare
Yeah, can you imagine?!
About the hands behind the back: it can be interpreted in two ways.
Police usually adopt this kind of stance to show confidence and authority,
but it can also be an attempt to control one's feelings as well.
I say he's guilty, but Australian investigative journalist/conspiracy theorist Joe Vialls
had written otherwise...

@PamelaJ88
Body language can be tricky to read, especially on a cold-blooded killer.
(He looks like he hasn't slept in days, doesn't he?)
Watch the video again; now look at each part of his body for signs of deception:
1. The looking away while talking in great detail.
2. Frequent shoulder shrugging, especially when discussing the girls.
3. Hands hidden behind his back almost the whole time.
IntuitSpirit 11 months ago
@faithoffaith you dont need to study pyschology to read someones body language or guilt.
