Puffing the cheeks can sometimes in the low tones give more resonance. I have been a professional bass clarinte player and I have used it to my advantage. Julian is playing the children's C- clarinet by Jeffrey Lions.

@desmondlhk its neither if you look closely its either an oehler or albert system clarinet buz of the that strange key on the lower joint that would be our E/B/F#/C# or maybe its the weirdest clarinet ever cuz of the weird ass shape that fits none of the clarinets i have seen

When I was five i couldn't even pay attention in ballet and gymnastics, nonetheless attempt to learn an instrument. Had to wait 6 more years to do that.

And i love his rehearsed bow at the end. So cute!

They said the same thing about Dizzy Gillespie but that did not change his tone at all. If you listen to little Bliss hold each note, he is able to sustain it without going sharp or flat. He is able to sustain it without changing the tone in the slightest. It takes great control, which he was able to do, up until those squeaks just past the 2min mark.
