Kathleen Sebelius would bring much needed executive experience to the ticket as VP.

However, neither Obama nor Sebelius has any military experience. Given that we are currently in 2 wars/occupations, the only way for Obama to win in a landslide is to get votes from military families, and that means choosing someone with military experience as VP. The last time a non-military Pres-and-VP combo got elected was 1940. Admittedly in that election, FDR had 8 years exp. as commander in chief.
