  • just a little too much delay in the beginning but really awesome cover

  • @peteyweakskeet thats how its played, watchem live

  • god im jealous

  • Great playing, I like the guitar tone as well. Did you learn this by ear?

  • wow good job!

nice guitar sound, it's very tool! you only must be careful with the palm mute parts.

  • ...oh yeah, fade2dark is a gayass name and you wine like a little pussy...sounds good bro; Rock on!

  • my bro; if youd ig what the microamp does to your sound, try an impedance buffer in b/w your guitar and effects or an onboard system like the bartolini TC5. very transparent and very cool...most effects in studios are patched through the board...this helps ge that live

  • No, I've seen a schism guitar cover. It was great.

  • Seriously what the hell is wrong with these people playing to an actual beat.

  • It's not a song anymore though if you just have the guitar track by itself. That's why I love Tool because its so dynamic.

Without a backing track or at least a metronome there's nothing to keep time with. It'd just be the guitar in it's own little world.

I've been messing around with a program for making drum beats though. I might try to make a drum track and record the bass part for a song.

  • can you clarify the mxr micro amp? When you have it activated, does it act as clean so you can use the distortion on your amp when it is not activated? Im confused

  • It just gives a little more gain, I can't get much clearer than my reply to ElimRem down below.

  • Great Job Man!!!!!!!!! Tool Rocks and you too!!

  • im thinking about buying an MXR MICRO AMP M133 is it any good?

  • depends. If you're playing on a small solid state practice amp you're probably not going to see much of a difference. You'd probably only notice slightly more sustain. If you've got a heavier amp cranked you'll notice lots of sustain and some more distortion. Also boosts the signal pretty good if you've got a ton of pedals connected.

  • un sonido buenisimoo, excellent

  • sounds good ,,, what distortion are you using? pickups?

  • No distortion pedals, just the amp's gain. The pickups in this video were stock Epi LP pickups. I've just put a SH-4 in the bridge recently though.

  • great sound. what marshall amp are you using? Or is it another...also what gauge and type of strings are you using?

  • amazing. better than mine lol. great tone, except for the beggining, more distortion, but keep it quite. great job :)

  • I use it during the bass solo and during the intro variation at around 5:30.

  • where exactly do you us the MXR micro amp?

  • yeah.....nice reach. Jerk

  • very very good! yea your reach is awesome

  • Your reach is very impressive :O
