i don't know exactly how he's doing it, but maybe this might help you already. both the tb303 and the em1 got built-in sequencer so you don't need a squencer for them. the only thing you need is a device giving those machines the tempo via midi beat clock. this could be a pc or a hardware sequencer or even one of those devices in the video like the 303. since the tb303 does not support that format you need a converter like the msy1 by doepfer. maybe i could help

Hi. Based on your trax and the work done by Denkitribe, I purchased an EMX-1 and KAOSS pad....and just picked up an ES-1 Mk II and ER-1 on eBay.
