that liberty needs new rubbers, i bought a renegade today actually and im glad to see that is can go threw puddles..... i wont be bringing it out with the samurai tho lol
man i love jeeps but i also like rovers, people say they suck and from ike 1990 and up they do but older then that are amazing, my dad had a jeep(80 something) and a land rover(81 i think ) both with 33's and modified to a 350 and the rover could doo way more off road
Hey can anyone help me. I have a 2007 trail rated jeep liberty with 17 inch rims but with road tires. I am really looking for some nice off road tires i believe that a 15 inch would be better for off roading and there are more tire choices for that size. So my question is what kind of tires would you recommend and what kind of rims. Thank you for your help.
Jeep is better than Land Rover. And because you own a Jeep doesn't mean you're poor it means you know what a good off-road vehicle is. Fuck Land Rover, if you want to actually go anywhere get a JEEP and BE PROUD YOU OWN ONE, unlike this fag that I'm talking to rightn now.
Gots love everything about Jeeps espcially with a lil mud on the tires!!! I have a 93' cherokee and an 05 liberty sprt and I love them! Once you drive or own one your hooked for life!! Nice vid, love to see a Liberty out there tearin it up with the Rubicon!!! OIIIIO
Which one are they buying? The Wrangler or the Liberty. The Liberty is great the wrangler is good offroad but not good for regular street driving. Too noisy, no storage space.
if your getting the liberty you find that is has better gas mileage and a smoother ride. i drive a Wrangler lifted, very good offroad, kind of smooth ride on the street, but when u hit bumps depending on your suspension its kind like having cement wheels.
i recently just got rid of my jeep grand cherokee and drive my back up car which is a honda civic..im thinkin in the next few weeks im going to get a jeep liberty 4x4. is there anything that's not good about the liberty?
Google "Jeep Liberty lower ball joint" and decide for yourself. Not the best suspension components or geometry around. Still, I enjoy my KJ very much. She's five years old and going strong with 69,000 miles.
there is nothing wrong with the steering geometry. chrysler has always had problems with front end parts. the older durangos/dakotas have bad ball joints all the time. the new 300s and rams have bad tierods all the time. they use cheap parts so they can save money. the liberty is one of the better chryslers in my opinion that you can buy right now.
nice muddin day! I have a pretty good video of me splashing through a monster puddle in a 2003 Liberty Sport. I live up near Tahuya National Forest 4X4 trails in Washington State. So far my Lib has made it through some pretty tough trails...even to the point where I have rescued others (another vid)..time to get a winch!!!
I have a 2002 liberty renegade, and when i shift from 4 hi to 2 hi, i heard a noise, then i have to go reverse and somtimes the noise disapear, other times takes me alot of time, to get the noise disapear. is it normal. sorry for the spelling, thats because i'm from mexico.
It's steaming because they both took a nose dive into the mud/water which was pushed up and over their hood. Radiator is hot so it's gonna steam up quickly. However, the KJ sucks air in at the hood line from the front so careful cause water will easily get into the intake. Slow down when taking the plunge.
@badbrad1977 OME has a great 3in lift for a pretty decent price. im crammin 31s under mine with the 2.5in lift at the moment. gunna puck the body soon. i have an 04 columbia edition.

@smallenginemods Its because the first rover was built on a jeep chassis. FACT.
MotocrossPenguinPro 1 year ago
@smallenginemods Range and land rovers are luxury SUVs, they just sink in the mud due to their weight...
Jeep=manly
Rover=rich soccer moms
NullusxVotum 11 months ago
@NullusxVotum yeah newer ones, the old ones were built for sand dunes and offroading like i mean reall old ones
smallenginemods 11 months ago
@NullusxVotum I'd take a Jeep over a Rover any day, but I'm not gonna deny the fact that my friend's Discovery does pretty damn well offroad.
PowderProjects 7 months ago
@PowderProjects well duh but thats a land rover my comment was mustly towards the range rover. the discovery is the only good rover left
NullusxVotum 7 months ago
@NullusxVotum The Defender is good too. But yeah, range rovers blow. If more people actually used them to offroad they would be okay/

I thought that the place looked like the Mounds. I read thru the video comments to verify, cool video.
Be careful out there, most of the mud puddles are bottomless, dug out with 44's.
